  1. Hey everyone, i had a Dell XPS L702X for about 2 years, i played skyrim to death on it (im at 800 hours) anbd i had huge trouble with ENB as it took me months to figure out nVidia optimus was the problem. I had a GT555M graphics card (notebook GPU) Now. I sold my laptop on ebay for £510 (very good as i bought it for £600!!!!) and with a bit more funding i bought the parts for a £1,000 computer including monitor and keyboard. here are the specs. i5 4670 3.40Ghz 8gb RAM GTX 760 Zotac AMP SSD (120Gb which will have the OS, windows 8.1 and Skyrim on) 7200Rpm 1Tb hard drive Now what i'd like to know is what kind of FPS i will get at 1080p with everything on ultra, and what ENB's will run well with this set up, and possibly if i can receive 60fps with an ENB and/or with at least 50+ mods installed (both texture mods like, 4k stars and HD texture and weather overhauls and of course gameplay mods like better kill animations, sky UI and house mods, oh and riverwood/whiterun reborn
  2. sounds cool being teleported around like that...
  3. Awesome, thanks i'll get right too that then and have a little fiddle around
  4. Does anyone have or know of an ENB preset that enhances the look of stars...? im a real big fan of looking up at the stars and i have a ton of mods that enhance the stars. Thanks everyone.
  5. Here is a screenshot from my task manager, the first spike is without a .dll in my skyrim directory and the second is with a d3d9.dll in my directory (a d3d9.dll that is made to INCREASE performance) http://puu.sh/3YDoh
  6. hey guys, i've recently been scratching my head over why ENB's always cause huge lag, even using ones that "enhance preformance" well recently (as in 10 minutes ago) i've found that its the D3D9.Dll files causing the lag. for instance. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5641/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D5641%26preview%3D&pUp=1 This mod here makes my skyrim lag like a boss. removing all the files from an ENB mod and leaving the ENB d3d9.dll in there makes my skyrim Lag like a boss also. however removing them makes it run perfectly, can anyone help me...?
  7. This is the problem though. i can run skyrim high everything (Anti Alisting x2 and Antiostropic filtering x2) at 30fps. but as soon as i add an ENB my FPS turns into how a ipad would run skyrim, no matter how "preformance" the ENB is, same result
  8. No difference im afraid with no mods installed, no on Vsync/FPS limiter
  9. i'll try forced windowed mode, and i'll try the limiter, then i'll try my mods
  10. Hey guys im getting some pretty bad lag (4fps, 6fps ect) while using ENBoost. The strange thing is that ENBoost improves preformance but for me it shunders it to a near halt Ok so this is skyrim running using ENBoost with nothing else running in the back ground like google chrome http://puu.sh/3Y29f.png im confused how only 0% CPU is being used and how i have only 41 free mb's of Ram left to use o.o can anyone help?
  11. Probably not... not from my experiance *spoiler* if your a high elf, during the diplomatic immunity, wear thalmor justicar robes once you get your gear back. it allows you to complete the mission without alerting some guards even if they see you as you blend in
  12. Hey guys i was reading the wiki on elder scrolls and i came up with a theory for the elder scrolls VI Ok so the dwemer dissapeared during the first era, they found something called "The heart of Lorkan" and they tried to get inside it/ manipulate it. the Chimer hated the idea and thought it was blasphamy so they waged war on the dwemer at the red mountain, during that battle the dwemer dissapeared because of a "Dragon break" (from the wiki) "A Dragon Break is a temporal phenomenon that involves a splitting of the natural timeline which results in branching parallel realities where the same events occur differently, or not at all. At the end of a dragon break, the timeline usually reconnects making all possibilities and outcomes truth, though some of them may contradict each other." So. im thinking that the dragon break will end maybe during the 5th era and cause the dwemer timeline to crash with the one in the elder scrolls games, and multiple things could of happened to the dwemer during that time, for example it said that multiple timelines we're created, maybe a timeline the dwemer were sent to was one where they won the red mountain battle and maybe conquered most of tamriel? and when the timelines clash together again the dwemer conquered tamriel could of "overlayed" itself over the Tes games tamriel so like suddenly out of no where dwemer forces/settlements ect suddenly appear where they built them in their timeline in the Tes games timeline, the dwemer just as confused as the tes timeline tamriel attack? maybe? Just a hunch from what info iv gathered, thoughts?
  13. Hey guys, recently i came back to Skyrim and something bugged me. A LOT. Ok, so im at level 33 currently and i started to think back to when i was level 10 ect and i thought of the weapon tiers i used to get from level 1-33 Iron Steel glass ebony WAT. i thought more about this and i realised that i didn't really find and weapons in the dwarven tier or elven tier. Im not sure if this is just me but armours skipped like this too. (nor did i find any glass weaponry other than glass swords, nor any glass armour) Tl;dr has anyone got a mod that extends the tier appearance? so like instead of one new tier appearing every 5 levels or what ever, a new tier appears every 10 levels? so at level 40 i'd have say dwarven armour, and so would everyone else around me. Thanks
