  1. Yeah.... totally needs to be made into a mod... first look a "stone biter" and we even have a "Dragon"
  2. I completely agree it will take time, but I believe a set of armor this intricate and ornate would be a welcome site in Skyrim :)
  3. Are there any advanced Mod creators out there who would be willing to take this project on?
  4. Overview: For a while now I have tossed around a unique story to tell to the community. I have "novice" map building and scripting capabilities and will need assistance from fellow modders to begin the planning, creation, and implementation of this story. What envision is a 4 part series (to be released all together or one at a time, depending). I will go into more detail of the synopsis below. Storyline: (Prologue) Before Tiber Septum united the warring kingdoms, a branch of the fighters guild resided in Skyrim. As the entire continent was engulfed in the flames of war, these knights would ally themselves to the lord who paid the most gold or supplied the most weapons. As time dragged on and no clear victor was in sight a young lord of the fighters guild, Travanix Rendflesh, took it upon himself to unite the warring kingdoms of Skyrim and push south for total domination. After leading several brutal victories and forcing many lords to recognize his power and his right to rule, Skyrim was finally united. It was during this period that reports of a mighty kingdom in the south preparing a massive army to conquer Skyrim was on the move. Travanix Rendflesh took his host and encamped around his castle to plan a defense and eventual counterattack. Within his castle, Travanix Rendflesh (now driven near-mad with power) realized he was vastly outnumbered. Taking it upon himself he consorted with the Daedric Lords to conjure the souls of the damned to boost his numbers through the use of blood magic. Eventually Travanix succeeded in opening a rift between Skyrim and the Realm of the Dead. However, with the rift open the Daedric Lords violently betrayed Travanix and the souls of the damned spread through his castle consuming and corrupting all life within. To the host of troops encamped around the Castle, an eerie sight of the castle engulfed in black flames that reached to the heaven, licking at the gentle aurora in the sky caused many to abandon their posts. The screams of the dying piercing the crisp night air. In a final act of clarity and desperation Travanix attempted to seal the rift but in so doing created a massive earthquake which not only caused a great earthquake to happen but ultimately led to a gigantic avalanche to roar down the mountain and bury the entire castle. Seeing his folly and trying desperately to seal the damned within, Travanix sacrificed himself to flash freeze the entire castle... As the host of troops outside scattered to the winds, eventually picking up and resuming bitter rivalries, The castle (buried deep beneath the snow) disappeared from existence...and eventually from memory... until now. (ACT 1) A surveying team sent from Castle solitude in search of new areas to Mine stumbles upon an ancient grate, in what should be the middle of nowhere.. The player will receive this quest in Solitude detailing an expedition to search this underground sewer system, believe to be Dwemer in origin. (sewers) Large sewer system, completely and utterly dark except for the empty torch brazers upon the wall (which can be activated to provide light to the area). This sewer system will eventually lead to the castle dungeon. (Dungeon) It is here that it is discovered that this indeed is not a dwemer city but in fact Nordic in origin. It is here that the fighting will begin. From this point forward the player will come across the bodies of prisoners (not skeletons) within the cells, frozen in place. The dungeon will consist of the prisoner area and the guard quarters .. medium in size. The Dungeon will lead upwards to the Kitchens and Barracks. (Kitchens / Barracks) Very large area, the player will see the collapsed walls (caused by the avalanche) with frozen bodies crushed underneath.. and powerful drauger enemies representing those whose soul was corrupted. This will eventually lead up to the Main Hall / Reception area. (Main Hall) Large area, consisting of the throne room, servants quarters, cooks quarters, treasury room, and the "kings guard" chambers. Same feel as the previous. This will lead to the Kings Chamber / tower overlook. (Kings Chamber) Medium Sized area, consisting of a treasury, war planning room, the Kings Room.... It is here there will be a final boss (not Travanix) Notes: at the end of the final boss battle it is discovered that Travanix Rendflesh did not sacrifice himself by killing himself, but rather entered the Realm of the Dead to confront the Daedric Lord who betrayed him. The entire castle throughout this act is destroyed on the inside. (Massive earthquake and avalanche tend to destroy things) (End of Act 1) (Act 2) The Rift Upon discovering that Travanix entered the Rift, Behind a Locked door within the Kings Chamber is a portal to the realm of the damned... (Realm of the Damned) MASSIVE zone consisting of all sorts of nasty creatures and multiple castles (representing different daedric lords so each castle will have its own theme) will eventually lead to the Daedric Prince of Betrayal where the player will find both Travanix and the Daedric prince locked in a fierce battle. Travanix eventually wins and approaches the player. The player will learn from Travanix that he is unable to leave this place now that his soul has corrupted...and even if he could his body would turn to dust since so many years has past since his departure... and that he cannot die nor can the prince of betrayal.. the only way to free him is to go back to where it all started... He explains to you that he used a powerful amulet, which has since broken while within the Realm of the Damned, that he used to cause the massive earthquke... but the amulet also has the power to seal the castle magically so that no mortal, or immortal, could ever enter it again... He begs the player to search skyrim for the ancient tome which would allow him to travel back in time and convince his former self to seal the castle or to kill his former self and seal the castle yourself... The player is eventually confronted by a newly resurrected daedric lord and is banished from the realm of the damned back to Skyrim.... Returning the player will have to complete a quest that takes him to multiple locations around Skyrim to gather the pages of the lost book of spells...during this time MANY random encounters will take place of Daedric lords attempting to thwart his plan (They are coming back to Skyrim now that the castle is thawing)... Eventually the player will get the spell... (end of Act 2) (Act 3) Time Travel! The player will cast the spell and be teleported to the castle (which is in pristine condition). Warriors and Knights patrol the castle, and all seems normal. As the player makes his way up to the Kings Chamber he will confront Travanix and tell him the circumstances and consequences of his actions. Travanix will scoff and accuse you of being a southern spy sent to thwart his plans. You will have to kill him. However before landing the killing strike Travanix will open the portal and rush in seeking aid from the Daedric Lords...You will rush in after them and knock out a much weakened Travanix and kill the Lord of Betrayal... you will pull Travanix's wounded body back through the portal and he will give the player his amulet before dying... The player, wishing to seal the rift once and for all... The player will run down through the castle, the knights now hostile to him since they killed Travanix, to make it back to the portal back to his own time... before entering the portal the player will smash the amulet and seal the castle forever... The player will be sent back to the entrance of the sewers with a bunch of prospectors, none the wiser, trying to figure out how to open the magically sealed grate... satisfied that the tale is over... the player continues his journey.... (end) VERY short synopsis (poorly written but i just wrote it as i remembered it...) Looking for help in creating the adventure ... i need: -Voice Actors (Male & Female) -Level Designers who are experienced with Navmeshing -Designers who are experienced with Radiant Story -Designers who are able to create more "knightly" suits of armor This will be a WIP for a while till we are satisfied to release either a full version or in parts.. Please PM me if you are interested in contributing to this Adventure... I am also open to suggestions and criticism as well (although helpful criticism... criticism just to be an ass is not welcomed ) Thanks!!!
  5. So many of you know that since Skyrim has kicked off many, many mods have been introduced. For instance, it did not take long at all before a World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King armor set with frostmourne came out. But to those of us who remember the glory days of Dragonlance, we know that the rich characters from those books deserve a place within Skyrim. Lord Soth of Draggard Keep was once a glorious paladin, a fabled "Knight of the Rose", who gained fame and glory for his noble deeds. However, within his heart, Lord Soth kept a dangerous truth of his secret affair with an elven girl, a strict taboo of his order. Finally being discovered after killing his own wife and sneaking the very pregnant evlen girl into his castle, he was attacked. In a last moment of clarity Lord Soth killed the elven girl, blaming her for his fall from grace, at the same time his castle was set ablaze. The God of Death, gleefully watching this episode take place, did not allow Lord Soth to die in the raging fires... rather become undead... Constantly tormented of his fall from grace he is forced to wear the charred remains of his once glorious gold and silver armor that held his beloved orders symbol, the red rose. Over time, Lord Soth's shame turned into anger and bitterness as all feelings of emotion left his body, he had thus become the Death God's champion, an unstoppable force of evil with the ability to raise the dead at whim... http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e220/Poetsrhyme/soth2.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e220/Poetsrhyme/lordsoth1.jpg http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e220/Poetsrhyme/314668395_2b1933b903_b.jpg Of all the characters in the Dragonlance world, I believe Lord Soth of Draggard Keep, fallen Knight of the Rose, deserves justice. [EDIT] I believe the basic armor structure of this set is already, in a sense, in the game..its just the design that needs to be imprinted onto the armor itself along with the helmet... Bumping is not allowed. -LM
