  1. Update, upon Un-installing a re-installing Vortex. I still have the same message? This is incredibly odd. Update Again: After clearing all directories and files from %appdata% roaming, Vortex booted on my main account. Any idea why this happened? I still have all the files from vortex if need be.
  2. When I Enable Sharing or Per-user on my second account. The master account still says "seems to be Already Running". I can't access the Master account to change anything. On the second account, in Sharing mode the account itself has no, games listed as managed and does not log me in automatically. When in Per-user mode, Vortex usually come up with one managed game (Stardew Valley) and logs me in, so long as I haven't loged out manually myself. I would think in sharing mode, vortex would either pull info from the master software to the Secondary account. Or the secondary account would try to send its data to the master. Data witch does not exist because its never had mods before. Either way I don't see how it forces the master version of Vortex to assume multiple instances of the software are running?
  3. I've been using Vortex for about 7 months on my Current PC. However today was the first time I tried to enable sharing on multiple accounts. I have downloaded 70+ mods for Skyrim SE and several mods for other games. I don't know if this would help, but I first enabled sharing on the second account. The account that had never used Vortex in the past. Don't know if that is an issue or not. It feels to me like there is something happening between the two accounts that won't let Vortex run properly. Today is the first time I've had Vortex software issues, in all my time using it. Of course I've had mod compatibility issues in the past, but that should't be causing this problem. At least I don't think so. Edit: I also downloaded some mods manually today.
  4. If I Select Per- user on my second, Windows 10 Account. Vortex signs in to my Nexus Profile and shows only one managed game "Stardew Valley". It is empty. No mods, no other games managed. Nothing. I don't know why selecting per-user would log me into my account, but it happens every time. Perhaps the one ,managed game, is trying to pull files from the main account to run. Causing an issue? I don't see why that would completely break one instance of the software but who knows.
  5. That is what I thought as well. I have closed the application. Signed out of it and stopped all processes of it running on the secondary account. I might try a full shutdown, instead of just a restart. Other than that I don't know how I could close Vortex any more than that, unless I disable it on start up or something. (it's not currently enabled on start up) Edit: Nothing has worked. Shutting the PC down, did nothing. All mods still work as intended, but I might have to reinstall Vortex which is not fun. Unless I can somehow figure this out. Could the error have something to do with the same nexus account being logged into two different Windows 10 profiles? I'm guessing its not that, but who knows.
  6. No instance of the program is, or was ever checked to run as administrator, specifically because I knew it causes issues. I have stopped Vortex from running several times now and get the same error message. I am at a loss. Edit: I appreciate all of your time and effort so far. Thanks.
  7. You mean closing out of it and reopening it? Or actually shutting it down somehow? I have restarted my PC twice to no avail and stopped all of its processes from running. Upon opening it again I get the Same message "Vortex seems to be running Already" The second account on this Windows 10 PC. Runs Vortex no problem.
  8. @HadToRegister Vortex is not being run as administrator as far as I know. This issue is most likely a permissions issue because I checked the Shared, setting in the vortex settings menu. At least I think. The program ran perfectly fine on both systems until then. All mods are still work currently, the application simply refuses to run.
  9. While I was installing mods for Multiple Games including Stardew Valley and Skyrim Se, I changed the application settings to Shared instead of per user so that all users could benefit from the same mods. However, this has caused Vortex to come up with the error "Vortex Seems to Already be running". I don't know what it means. There are no other instances of Vortex running on the background. The odd thing is that the secondary account can run Vortex just fine. No errors. I want both profiles to be able to run Vortex. I am thoroughly confused. Did I change permissions unknowingly or did I somehow corrupt Vortex? Vortex has only been installed one time on this pc. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
