  1. ****** Solution **** I figured out the problem. The companions will revert to their default outfits if you remove them. So I gave them shoes to make them nude. The shoes have the CBBE body attached. The physics was still working so I did not think it was the issue. I think the body either had the CBBE physics on them or were expanded to fit as an outfit instead of a body, causing the clipping. I loaded the shoes into Outfit Studio and copied the Cherry Physics bone weights. Everything works perfect now. Wish there was a script or something that would copy the bone weights to all my mods. Hint hint for someone more skilled then I.
  2. I am having clipping issues with both of my favorite companions, Cait and Piper. I am using several outfits layered to to create their look. Their breast come through the outfit but if I put the same outfit on my character or a settler it looks right. Not sure why Cait and Piper are the only 2 that are having this issue. I high lighted all the mods that should be effecting Cait and Pipers outfits. The issue started after I added the Cherry Physics to all the clothing. Before I did that their beast had physics but the outfits did not. It all works great on everyone else. Now those 2 are always poking though instead of just when they move.
  3. This is my 1st mod and will need advice and possibly some help later on. I am still in the planning stages so here is what I have so far. Goals: 1. Change most generic (unnamed) NPCs to female. I do not want to modify story line or quests so those NPC will be left alone. 2. Add Megaton hair and possibly face and body mod to all females in the game. 3. Create a consistent theme for all factions. Great Khans are all redheads Good Springs are all blonds Raiders are Tattooed Leaving NCR, Legion, most of the casinos, Brotherhood of Steel and Boomers alone at this time. May add megaton hair at a later date. 4. Create a set of body mods ranging from A cup to DD or more :wink: (small, med, large, maybee XL) Replace standard outfits and armors with body mods Create several textures for each body mod. (Shaved, unshaved, dirt, tattoos, scars, wounds, piercings, ect. Likely will use tattooing and hair color to identify factions) Create a randomization for these mods so everyone does not look the same. (I don’t want Good Springs to look like a blond nudist colony of clones. Everyone needs different body shapes and textures.) 5. Increase spawn rate and make sure most factions will respawn if killed. 6. Leave vanilla underwear unchanged. Even if an NPC looks nude, when they are looted I want them to retain the vanilla underwear. The nude appearance is just how the armor looks and should function like an armor and not a body mod. 7. Change traveling merchant brahmin to nude legion slaves with the giant backpacks. If I can add a collar with a long dangling chain that sways when they walk that would be great too. 8. Adding lipstick, makeup and better face textures would be a big plus. If your are going to have a bunch of naked women running all over the desert, they might as well have a pretty face too. 9. Make mod compatible with World of Pain and Project Nevada since I usually have both mods installed. Challenges 1. Modifying breast size of the geometry and making sure that the textures will still wrap properly. I don’t want to have to make 3 to 5 textures for each texture so it will fit right. Some stretching will be expected but shouldn’t be too noticeable as long as I don’t have things like a tattoo that goes over the breast, and shoulder, belly or side. I figure design medium cup and everything else will be close enough to not noticeably distort. 2. Creating some way of randomizing the breast size. Whether it’s from a script or making NPCs with each size IDK yet. What’s the easiest way? Whichever geometry is chosen I still need the texture for that armor or faction to be used. 3. I already started testing on Good Springs. I changed the OutfitRepublican01 through OutfitRepublican04 to nudes. Most of Good Springs is running around in Vanilla Underwear. A few have the correct geometry but the wrong texture. Grey panties error flesh tone nipples and obvious bad wrapping of burned in texture shadows. Not sure yet which outfit is showing the right geometry and which is showing as vanilla. But the one that is not showing up as vanilla does change to vanilla when I loot the NPC. So at least that is working. 4. Body skin tone does not match face. I have been having a huge problem with things like African-American NPCs with Caucasian bodies. Caucasian NPCs who’s bodies are paler than an Irish crazy cat lady who hasn't left her basement in 20 years. I seem to have the least amount of problems with Hispanic and Asian races but I'm not sure if that's just luck or something with how the complexion is done on those 2 races. 5. Changing Traveling Merchant Brahmin. I have changed the Khans dogs to Dethclaws but I have no idea how to change a creature to something that is not a creature. 6. Deciding on a full list to define different levels of armor and factions. Currently thinking outfits with DT of 1 or 2 are shaved, 3-4 unshaved, 5-6 tribal tattoos, 7-8 panties, 9-10 Bikini bottoms, 11+ various lingeries. Good Springs Blonds, Khans Red Heads, Gangs (Vipers, Fends, Jackals and Raiders) punk hair colors with an identifying tattoo. IK I have a lot more factions to think about. I want to get most planned out before I start. Any tips, tricks, advice or opinions will be greatly appreciated. If you would like to collaborate please let me know. I have never collaborated before so I will need to know the best ways to trade data and keep good communication.
