So does that mean that... if my archery skill reaches 100 and I make it legendary, that all my damage updates for said skill are gone and I do about as much damage as I did on level 1?

I agree. The Salt Lake servers are incredibly slow right now. Downloading with a maximum speed of 35 kb/s connected to Salt Lake 2. Also I don't understand why that server is even picked for me, considering that I sit in Germany. Shouldn't it prefer the one in Amsterdam?
