Well, for the sake of contributing to the community, I will say this was resolved by reinstalling the Skyrim Script Extender VR and turning off some other mods, no thanks to the people here on these forums.

I installed a number of Skyrim SE mods after searching and findind reddit posts that said they work with VR

So I installed a bunch of mods via Vortex for Skyrim and after following instructions from the guy who made Vortex via Discord, I finally decided to try to load Skyrim VR. I tried loading it from Vortex at first, believing I needed to do so. Nothing happened. I tried opening it in Steam. It acts like its starting and just does nothing and stops. Same if I open Steam VR first and load it from inside there. I have no idea what's going on, I just want to play my game. Reddit has a dead end post about this that is useless. I'm using Vortex, and am not going to figure out Mod Organizer 2 or LOOT or whatever. Help?

What do you do when its the exact same case as the first guy's , but you're playing on a mac with wine? :/ I overwrote those files you werent supposed, accidentally, while installing and now the game just does nothing when I try to open it, even after replacing my folder, but keeping my data folder and then replacing the hialgo files from its zip :/

Hey guys. Thanks to a useful thread somewhere on here I managed to get mods working on my cider wrapped mac version of skyrim. some basic mods (flyable broom etc). I'd like to try out this full on flying mod though that requires FNIS...the cat movement mods look cool too. Any word on how I can install FNIS without having to use that generate something .exe ? Can't run .exe 's....thanks!
