OwO Free muns?

I'm having a minor problem (for now) with TES5Edit. At first, it cleans fine, saves, and makes backups, etc., but the next time I boot my PC and check LOOT, the mods I cleaned are dirty again. Skyrim's master files have stayed clean, but when I cleaned the two ITMs from Cloaks of Skyrim, they came back the next day. I had also changed the master from USKP to USLEEP for the CoS Compatibility Patch, but that reverted back as well. Luckily, I found someone in the forums that had uploaded a swapped version, so that's not a problem anymore. I thought that it might have been something to do with NMM's profiles, that when it switches, it grabs the original, uncleaned files again. I've only been modding for a few days now, so I don't know. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is there a fix?
