Yup. I somehow didn't realize this for like 4 years. I also JUST realized that you can crouch next to Brahmin and push them over.

If you have any mods installed, I'd suggest downloading and running LOOT to sort them out a bit. It's not perfect, but I've had that fix the same issue you're having on a few different occassions. Also, do "verifty integrity of game cache" in the game's Steam settings.

After about 120 hours on Fallout 4, I'm burnt out. I'm waiting on the GECK until I jump in again. I installed Oblivion again and I'm using Antimicro to map the controls to my XB1 controller. The controls are kind of wonky, but I'm having a blast. Super jump clothing + custom super jump spell + Springheeled jacks boots + being a vampire is insane.

We're still waiting on the new version of the GECK to come out, plus a bunch of other tools, like updated NIFtools for Blender, a new BSA extractor/compressor, etc. It is possible to do some decent modding without the GECK (Moonpath to Elswyr for example), but you would have to deconstruct the game's original assets, rebuild them, and then reconstuct them which is difficult and tedious. As of right now, your C# / C++ skills could be put to better use by helping develop mod tools, if that's something you want to do.
