I think you need to read Posts sections with better attention. There you can see that someone says "mods work", and someone says "not work". Those who say "work", as well as others have a lot of mods installed. But they have spent time and attention to study of the issue and solved it. Some ot them who said "not work" read posts more carefully and now say "work". If there was no updates u need to uninstal this mods completely if game crashes with them. Example: DEF_HUD (a part of DEF_UI mod) has no update.
