  1. Another voice for the choir. The new UI is absolutely awful on a fundamental level, and no amount of small tweaking will fix it. This "tile" view takes longer to parse, conveys less information, and is frankly painful to look at. And the search is just... what were you thinking? It's gone from one of the best search features, to one of the worst I've ever seen. If I had a subscription I'd be cancelling it.
  2. If I had a premium subscription rather than a lifetime purchase, I'd be cancelling it in protest. This is absolutely terrible. Revert it, please.
  3. That should work, thanks! I'm not the best with the Creation Kit, but I should be able to get that working.
  4. I was wondering if there's any way to remove the animation showing the character smithing/alchemising/enchanting, or outright pause the game during this animation for the same effect. I'm using a custom race, of my own design, for a custom worldspace I'm also working on, but due to it's proportions, smithing looks terrible. I've always disliked the real-time crafting, but it's especially annoying when playing a character that can't actually reach all parts of the table/forge, and clips through parts of it. Does something like this exist? Every google attempt just leads to people complaining about the exploitable potions in morrowind, or about making crafting take hours.
  5. I'm on my third playthrough of Fallout 4, and am trying something rather different. I've been playing the game at a reduced scale on this one, .7 to be exact, with my health and carry weight manually tweaked for a character of that size. It's a pretty enjoyable way to play the game, dominating the wastes while being so physically inferior to everything else. Deathclaws and such are especially terrifying. To further add to this, I've only been using weapons and armor I craft myself using workbenches from mods, as normal equipment would not fit on such a character. One thing that really makes this difficult, however, is terminals, which require you to be at the correct height to see them properly. In previous games, the terminals were just objects and a menu came up on the HUD to interact with, which was fine, but that isn't the case anymore. Is there any way I could make a script that would automatically change my scale when I use a terminal, and revert it after, so that I don't have to use the console each time? I'd much rather have the minor annoyance of changing size for a moment when using the terminal over having to use setscale .7 on the terminal and break the immersion completely. I'm not a modder, not for these games at least, but am pretty computer literate and can code in a couple of languages. Just need to know if it's possible, and how I would go about doing it.

Maximum instant speed reached: 978.4 KB/s -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.speedtest.net/result/3886726508.png My speed was usually between 1.1 and 1.4 mb/s when downloading from the nexus before CDN, but had gotten as low as 30kb/s since. Speeds today are much better, though still only about 620kb/s average. Can't wait for this issue to be resolved. I stopped the download early, but the log of what I did get should be fine. --- EDIT --- I just tried downloading something three hours after my original post, and speeds are down again. I'm at 200kb/s now, not 600. This is not an issue with my connection, as all other sites that I use are still at normal speed.
  7. As I said further down, the CDN is not working well for me at all. Midwest US, usually get about 1.0 to 1.2mb/s download here, but it has reached an all time low of 17kb/s. It has gotten to the point where I don't want to use nexus anymore. Anyone else in this region with the issue?
  8. I am having issues as well. Nornally I download things at about 1mb/s here on the nexus, but as of yesterday that has slowed to about 90kb/s. Only download option in US is CDN.
