Hi m'friends! I play Skyrim on Mac through Wineskin (yes, I know, I know...). For 2-3 years, I've never had any problems and use Mod Organiser with loads of mods. It's been fine. During the last week though, I can't open Steam. It gets stuck with 'Extracting Package.' If I clear my caches and use a disk cleanup app, I can open the normal, Mac version of Steam but it never translates to being able to use the Wineskin version and even Wineskin itself is f*cking up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Steam, updated my Mac, deleted all the files, cleaned the computer and uninstalled and reinstalled it again and again but still the same. All the fixes I've Googled come up PC of course so can't find anything for Mac. Any advice??? Much appreciated.

Hi, forgive me if this is posted in the wrong place: I downloaded the Mac App Store version of the game. Installed the Restored Content Mod and it's worked fine until the point I'm at now. I'm on Dxun for the second time, in the Sith Tomb and the party has split up. As soon as I walk down the ramp for what I assume is the last battle there, the game shuts down. I have a number of mods installed, but I've even tried playing with ALL of them removed and it's still the same. Is it the restored content mod doing this? Should I start again without it? I just want to finish the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, - JP
