  1. In response to post #27539109. #27539259, #27539509, #27539644, #27545754, #27548114, #27548434 are all replies on the same post. Yeah, I know a few of my girl gamer friends are pretty shy about speaking in chat. The downsides of being anonymous are that losers will push whoever they can. The sad part is that these idiots are usually dateless irl. People just want to be bullies, especially in competitive games. I think that the act of attacking someone makes them feel as if they won the game. I suppose That's why I like the Nexus. Idiotic comments like those aren't allowed. None of that "get back in the kitchen" crap allowed. It keeps the trolls out of the serious topic at hand.
  2. In response to post #27548614. I was a bit surprised as well of that. I know a few of my favorite authors have simply quit modding, and have stopped visiting this community. That being said most people that come to Nexus are consumers. Very few actually release what they make while modding.
  3. Nice addition! Added it on my mods. Hopefully it can save me some time in the future. Hopefully it'll work well, but but overall I'm just happy to have a preset dedicated page for it.
  4. I was kind of wondering how one would deal with stolen assets, or even ones with permissions that were then uploaded to make a quick buck. Simply put, this is a big step back for everyone in my opinion. The only ones that will make a dime are the devs. It's kind of a shame how some some people change when money is involved. Paying for mods is a nice idea; compensating the mod makers, but for most mods using others assets, I feel it will only hurt the community overall. All the same, thank you for your well-written words over the last few weeks, Dark0ne! This must be a pretty stressful time.
  5. Sorry moderators. This would be best placed in the Skyrim section. I didn't see that I clicked TES instead of Skyrim specifically. If it can be moved I would be grateful.
  6. Hello, I'm working on a follower mod. It's nearly done save for an issue that her face isn't fully standalone. I can't figure out my mistake. I've tried everything but the face looks vanilla, and what's worse, her mouth doesn't move and she doesn't blink. Any input would be well appreciated, especially if you had this issue before. Been working on it to no progress. I have some pictures if anyone has had this issue. This is what she looks like on a fresh install. And this is what she looks like on my current install. http://i.imgur.com/iznNd7a.jpg
  7. Thanks for the responses. I had read the ToS but wanted to really see where the line was drawn simply to stay well within my rights and to positively add to the community. I really wanted to see more of what people personally call offensive that others might not. Think of it as the saying "I know it when I see it." knowing that one size does not always fit all as well as a bit of a connotative explanation. Thank you staff and the more veteran members for your response on the matter!
  8. Now before I start, if there is a topic or a better section to post this in please direct me to it. I have a rather serious question for moderators and/or people able to articulate where one would draw a decent line on what constitutes "adults only" in uploaded content. I know what is considered "decent" and not in terms of black and white, but have my own ideas on the middle, more grey area. I was just wondering where one would call it as inappropriate. I could guess the usual sexually suggestive stuff like skimpy "armor"/clothes, provocative poses, scenes suggesting mature content, etc. My question is because I cannot find a more clear-cut answer or forum topic, or formalized rule covering this, where does one draw the line? I know there's no "one size fits all" here, I would just like to know where the line stands here.
  9. Im looking to buy a computer and I would like to get some advice on what specifications I need and what I would want to make it run well. Im new to computer gaming and my current computer won't work. What you you suggest for a starter? What are the key things to look for in a gaming computer?
