  1. I thought there already was a mod that allows you to build wherever you want but I cannot find it. Maybe I was wrong. I have built a base on one of the lilypads and it extends down into the sea below the pad but the problem is that while I have built two moonpools, one for the seatruck and one for the prawn suit, the problem is that there is nothing for a very long way down below the pools so there is no way jump the prawn suit into the moonpool from below. I have been trying to build a platform below the pool for the prawn suit to land on but it seems you are not allowed to build under the moonpool. Does anyone know of a mod that can help with this?
  2. I am getting really annoyed with the bloody Ice spikes that wizards throw at you that you then have stuck with you for the rest of a dungeon. I once saw a mod to remove them but I cannot find it now. Anyone know of a mod to remove them?
  3. I decided to play through the Companion quests and I finally got to the Underforge to be turned into a werewolf. Once in werewolf form, I only am able to move my right arm. Moving the controller in my left hand does nothing. At first I thought the problem was with the Moonlight Tales mod I am using but I disabled it and tried again and still had the same problem. The only two werewolf mods I use are Moonlight Tales and the mod to add female werewolf models. Any suggestions? Anyone know of a fix? Anyone playing in VR who doesn't have problems being a werewolf?

  5. Hello fellow travelers of Tamriel. Does anyone know if there is a mod anywhere that can allow VR players to manipulate the dead bodies of NPCs like you can in the non VR version of the game? In the non-VR version I would sometimes position bodies in a specific way to be able to capture specific screenshots. In VR, unless I just haven't figured it out, you don't seem to be able to move dead bodies around. Can anyone confirm if this is in fact the case and maybe suggest a mod if one exists?
  6. Oh well, that was a waste of time. All that time trying to get the game to run and it is almost unplayable on the HTC Vive Cosmos as the controllers are not recognized.
  7. Okay, well thanks for your help. I now am able to start the game from Vortex. It crashes when I start the game but I am sure that is just a load order issue. I'll figure that out eventually. Thanks.
  8. That is what I tried to do earlier but somehow I managed to disappear the entire tool section of the dashboard. I think I am just going to write off Vortex as a badly designed piece of software and go back to what I know which is Mod Organizer 2.
  9. I do have the SKSEVR installed correctly. I just managed to get the game to run with mods by clicking on the SKSEVR.loader.exe instead of running it through Vortex. I don't know why Vortex cannot find it but at least I can get the game to run now by just bypassing Vortex for the last step.
  10. Okay so I clicked on Deploy Mods and it deployed them. Great, one problem fixed but it still doesn't fix the bigger issue that when I try and start the game, Vortex gives me the message that it cannot find the SkyrimVR.exe file. It doesn't make sense. I click on GAMES on the left and then clicked on the SHOW DETAILS button on Skyrim VR and it shows the path where the game is. It is correct so how can it not find the SkyrimVR.exe? I checked and it is right there.
  11. Okay, at the top of the Vortex screen I have the picture for SkyrimVR. There is an icon there for launching the game. When I click on it, it says there are mods waiting to be deployed. That doesn't make any sense to me as all the mods have been installed and enabled and all conflicts have been resolved. So I am given the option to cancel, skip or deploy. Cancel does just that but regardless of whether I click on skip or deploy, I get a new message saying that it cannot find the file SkyrimVR.exe which makes even less sense. I checked the path that Vortex has set as the game directory and it is correct and I can see the SkyrimVR.exe file so why can Vortex not find it? Why do people fix things that were never broken in the first place? Nexus Mod Manager was so much simpler to use.
  12. Okay, so I have installed all my chosen mods and I have edited the SkyrimPrefs.ini file with the "bEnableFileSelection=1" line and then I started the game with the sksevr.loader.exe instead of the regular Skyrim launcher and yet the game is loading up with no mods running and everything still looks vanilla. The one though I had is that maybe I have to start the game through Vortex but I cannot figure out how to do that. From the Vortex dashboard there was a section with tools like FNIS and other external programs that could be run but somehow, I clicked something and it is gone. I cannot see it anymore. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this running. I am not new to modding Skyrim but this is my first time using Vortex. I know with Mod Organizer 2 I used to start the game via the SKSE tool that I would setup in MO2 but I cannot seem to find the same option in Vortex. Please help.
  13. I have read a lot of reviews that complain about how glitchy and bugged the VR game is. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to which mods are best to improve the VR game and which mods should be avoided. I am an old hand at modding Fallout but very new to the VR version of it. From my understanding so far I should avoid anything that alters animation for the player as they won't do anything for VR. Anything else I need to know?
  14. So in the game there are bags you find on the Aurora and they are called a "Carry-all". It would have been more apt if they called them a "Carry-f**k-all". Because the moment you put anything inside one, you cannot carry it anymore. Can someone edit this item so that you can fill it with stuff and then still pick it up? Is this possible?
  15. So I have built up my character's Stealth skill to level 20. I also have all black clothing leaving me with Noise at 0 and Visibility at 18. This is fine as long as you do not get spotted even for a second. It seems that once you have been spotted, running away does not matter. In the pick black of night, once you have been spotted, even if you run far away and hide. the enemy will still home in on you as though you are wearing a flashing police light and siren on your head. I wasted all this time building up my stealth to find that it is complete BS in this game. Is there a mod to fix this and if not, can someone make one?
