  1. I had to run NMM as administrator and update to do your suggestion, which fixed my issue thank you so much! Hhhmmm well there are a handful of mods that are manual only I was interested tin, I'll give em a shot. Ah as I thought Vortex is certainly superior, I've just messed things up a bit too much ahaha, well when I get a new laptop I'll start fresh with Vortex. Thank you once again for your help, really appreciate it
  2. I've always used the instant management from NMM, is manual difficult to get used to? Thank you for replying as well
  3. Hello everybody! I hope everyone is doing well. So I'd watched a few tutorials and thought I'd give Vortex a try, after installing it, putting mods through it and using the Knowledge Base the past two days I'm still confused and not really much further it feels. I think the issue is my computer is super duper cluttered as when I try follow some of the guides to for example activate and use Bodyslide for Fo4 the files don't seem to be where they are shown. So I think until I get my new PC when it'll all be fresh installs etc I would like to go back to NMM. Vortex for me it seems will work a million times better when I start from scratch rather than the mess my computer is in currently fiilewise. The issue I'm having is I can't seem to be able to find from looking myself to searching the internet how I can make it so when I download mods they will go to Nexus Mod Manager instead of Vortex. I've seen people say its in preferences but I still can't seem to find it. If anyone could help I would be super grateful, I've never really before needed to use help forums so I hope I've been clear enough
