Same thing here. The SKSE website preliminary AE version appears to include today's Skyrim update, but the runtime numbers don't match and I can't launch.

For me, this was all about a future of ONLY curated steam mods for money. I didn't want them sending Cease & Desist letters to the nexus to protect an income stream. I'm glad they addressed this in the blog.

Agreed, the modders are not to blame, and so much hate was thrown their way and I don't think that was deserved. For me, this was never about paying modders for modding, it was about what it could lead to in the near future if it had been successful. I'm talking about Bethesda only allowing paid mods to protect a revenue stream.

I suppose this could go both ways. I've seen the pay mods for free on Nexus as well. Apparently by the same authors, but it's hard to tell how far trolls might go so who knows who'se legit.
