  1. The path you listed above, and this forum, are for DAO. Suspect that could be the problem... :whistling: Damnit xD Yeah I guess that was probably the problem. Thankyou for this :P
  2. First of all, I bought the Ultimate Edition from Steam (I'm pretty sure that matters) V1.05 So I've been trying to install override mods for at least a day with no success. I extract the mod (in this case, it's the "Morozik75 Arsenal" mod, although I also tried 'Vow of Pride' armor.) I extract the file, get the necessary folder and place it into C:\Users\Josh\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override No matter what I do, it just doesn't work and I couldn't be ANY more sure that I'm doing it correctly. I read somewhere the folder needs to be extracted with 7zip instead of WinRar, so I tried that and installed - still no luck. THEN I decided to try DAOModManager. I chose 'create a new override package', placed the files inside of it, and created the package. Then I install the package and get a 'override is compatible' message, alas, it still doesn't work. I've also tried running the game with administrator privileges, still nothing. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to edit a config file somewhere to allow mods? Help me before I go insane! :wallbash:
  3. No, never really had any interest in Project Neveda. I don't think a have any mod that could do this. Also, I looked through fallout.ini, and falloutprefs.ini and I couldn't find a line like that. Where is it located? I may have done something dumb.
  4. So, I installed a mod pack (Exciters guns mini pack) and got playing. I decided to try and get a headshot and the shot wasn't hitting, so after an awkward battle I shot at a rock, and sure enough the shot was way above the Iron sights. So, I tried an AK-47 from the Ak's and AR-15's pack, and I had the same problem again. So I did a fresh install, just New Vegas, the DLC and the exciters pack. Had the problem again, so this time I figured it could just be the 2hand anim, so I did a fresh install with just the Ak's and AR-15's pack... I think you can guess what happened (It happened again, dummy.) I installed the tactical combat set the other day (http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/36500) and for some weird reason, the M14 was perfectly fine, AND the pistol, just not the assault rifle. Wtf is up with this? Does ANYONE know a fix, or what I am doing wrong or anything?! This is driving me insane here. I don't really want to play Fallout without mods, they... Complete me. Thanks for reading, and even more thanks if you post a solution :)
  5. Yeah, I'm thinking that's actually a better idea, they rarely use this crash, so why not put it to good use? All we need now is someone with the ability to do this :D
  6. It has always bugged the hell out of me that when you kill a dragon and it's flying, it will: ● Continue to fly about until landing ● Guards will continue to fire arrows at it ● Civilians will continue to run around and panic ● Many other stupid things I think that it'd be a good idea for a mod, perhaps titled 'Falling Dragons' or 'Realistic Dragon Deaths' where instead of flying around while technically dead just to land and die, the dragon just fell out of the sky (In rag-doll physics) This could make it pretty interesting to find a corpse of a dragon that fell down a mountain, and also make the fight end during the dragons 'death noise' not about 20 seconds later. Does anybody else think this could make a good mod? I'm pretty sure this annoys other people too. Thanks for viewing :)
  7. Hey guys, I had an idea for something I thought would be pretty funny, (Discuss that in a sec) but when I tried it out, it didn't work. I feel I'm missing a tweak, a little advice? Now, I was going to make a mod to make everybody hate chickens (Thought everyone going aggro on chickens whenever I go into Riverwood could be funny,) but for some reason I can't get it to work. I removed the 'Chicken faction' from the chickens, added 'Dragon Faction' to the chickens instead, and turned the chickens to aggressive, but I went into my game to find that chickens were still happily plodding around without guards bombarding them with arrows (The look on my face was a dissapointed one at that point) :( Am I missing something out here? I was pretty sure this would do the job and make chickens be hated, but sadly they are still liked by society. Any help would be appreciated, I'm pretty sure I'm missing a minor detail but none-the-less I can't figure it out. When I get this mod working I will upload it and give credit to the person I feel helped me the most :) Thanks for reading!
