  2. Hello all, Before I go off and upload a mod I've been working on, I thought I'd check here. I'm upscaling the Dragon Alphabet (the letters you see on the word walls and when the greybeards shout at the floor) from 1k to 4k. My question is, would I be able to safely upload this file? I haven't re-created the textures, I simply scaled up the resolution of the diffuse and normal maps. Thanks
  3. Basically the title says it all. Trees have this weird white outline when against fog or smoke. I've disabled AA and AF to no avail. Tried disabling AO, transparent MSAA, transparent SSAA, FXAA, and nothing changes. I don't use enb or Real Clouds.   4. I will try to get that working. As i said, I'm not really good with the creation kit yet. It may involve me making a separate esp just for those who played the imperial side of it. The hard part is making the quest detect who you sided with. I'm not sure how to do that via CK. but, i plan on making this playable for either faction. :)
  5. Yeah all of the armor/weapons/voicing is planned for once i get the questline set up, with functioning npc's. Dialog is time consuming stuff though If this comes together as how i am envisioning it, it's going to be sweeett! but as you said, small steps.
  6. Hello peoples of the Nexus. Currently in development is a massive continuation of the war in Skyrim. At the end of the Civil War questline, It is mentioned that the Aldmeri Dominion still present a threat to Skyrim. However, nothing of the sort happens. We continue on with the game without giving a crap about the Thalmor or the Dominion. NOT ANYMORE FOO. When this mod is completed, it will add a totally new questline involving the Aldmeri Dominion (Lead by the Thalmor) attacking several of the major holds in skyrim. It will be the dragonborns job to ward off the attackers and destroy the forces of the Dominion in Skyrim. Being new to the Creation Kit, i've basically only created a quest that requires you to kill a very powerful thalmor wizard. However, I plan on adding several more hours worth of questing, adventuring and killing. Plans: Fully voiced actors and new characters Quests to retake and liberate the holds that were taken over by the Dominion New weapons (if i can get better at design) A dynamic questline that can change depending on what you do, i.e. you can choose to prematurely attack the thalmor and hopefully prevent future attacks on skyrim The option to side with the Thalmor and the Aldmeri Dominion, regardless of race. Epic battles involving large numbers of NPC's. The thalmor have learned the power of shouts (or at least, I will make them do so), and have used this power to bend dragons into doing their bidding. expect armored dragons in the future (maaayyybbbeeee). A new set of Stormcloak (or Imperial) Armor that reflects the players prowess in battle against the Elves. Adding something that involves an Elder Scroll. Some politics to eventually end the second great war. New Forts, maybe even small cities or towns. I know that this will turn out to be a HUGE mod. So, I would like some suggestions or ideas for content. I will definitely consider anything posted here. Also, I want to make this as script-free as possible. So any tips on that would be useful Thanks!
  7. I walked into Solitude (for the first time @ lvl 40) and the scripted execution of roggvir didn't happen. Only one NPC was standing there, i think it was the elf chick from the clothes shop, and Jarreera (the argonian dude) was hostile towards me. Roggvir and the guards and executioner weren't on stage. I reverted saves, and the same thing happen. I'm not using Open Cities either. Any help would be much appreciated!

  9. Hello everyone I have been playing skyrim for some time with about 70-100+ mods. mostly visual effect ones. Recently, I have been noticing the "seams" of some visual effects (shouts, spells, some npcs, etc). I was wondering if anyone out there knows what this is or has experience a similar issue. So far it hasnt caused any real trouble, it's just rather annoying. These are pictures of the various seams that i am seeing. If anyone can provide some help, that would be great!!
  10. Yeah, I've given up on trying to fix the game. lol It doesn't bother me too much, and i nvidia's settings are phenomenal.
  11. Having some issues with skyrim - the in game graphics settings (the ones enabled in the launcher or INI files) simply don't work. It seems to mainly be the AA or MSAA and FXAA. I've done comparisons of skyrim without AA/MS/FXAA and skyrim with those options selected in the launcher. I also checked the INI files, and they were all properly marked. I'm not sure if it's a glitch or some mod; I've verified the files with steam multiple times as well. The only way for me to have the AA settings work is by forcing or overriding them in nVidia inspector. Using that program is not a huge deal, i just prefer using the launcher to set my settings. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks! p.s. System hardware (in case this may be an issue): nVidia gtx 680 (gigabyte's windforce oc edition) AMD phenom II x6 1055t, oc'd to 3.8ghz 8gb ram ASUS m4a87td evo motherboard 650w thermaltake psu coolermaster haf 922
  12. I'm having an issue with some graphical rendering stuff. I'll be walking along in skyrim and notice terrain and scenery "pop" into their non-lod rendered states instead of fading into view. I was wondering if there were any ini settings that i could alter to change this. I've messed around a little bit, including changing my ugrids values, but im not exactly sure what all of the values mean
