Just a little follow-up. I've found the dirty screen lens flare texture and using the guide for the little texture replacement mods CDPRed have provided I've managed to basically replace it with a transparent texture and it seems to have done the trick.

Now that the mod tools are out, would it be possible to that annoying dirty lens effect? I don't know anything at all about modding, but if anyone is interested in cooking up a mod to remove that effect or giving me some directions so that I may try and remove it myself, I would be very grateful. I've been searching for a way to remove it since release and I might be willing to spend the rest of my days on this grayish earth learning how to mod this game so that I may remove that obnoxious effect. Thanks.
