  1. Err... I don't understand you, sorry. Many thanks!!!! Kudos and credits earned and given. There are still a few minor details that bug me, but till we can use blender or the like it's as good as it gets. I'll put the file up tomorrow.
  2. OK Gilead, I've uploaded it here Draugr_Armor_Main.rar - 0.71MB hope this works never used a file share site before.
  3. I don't see what would be missing. Perhaps you should send me your mesh and texture so I can take a look at it. I would really appreciate the help what is the best way to send you the textures and meshes I'm working on? The armors textures are working just the way I want its the copied body mesh that isn't showing any texture at all.
  4. I sent you an email if you reply so I can attach a file I'll just send you the TEMP fix for you then when I figure out the mod I'm trying to make I'll do a variation for you it's really not much more work to make a save halfway through the process in order to make the variation.
  5. I can tell what to do using Photoshop but there are missing body parts under those hip plates too you may not have a problem if you leave the leather/ chainmail, but if you wanna lose those too we'll have to figure out the invisible body thing first. First, use the quick select tool and select the hip parts and layer via cut. Uncheck or delete the new layer to erase the part you do not want. Then click the channels tabs over the area where you see the layers. and select the alpha channel (NOT ALL TEXTURES HAVE THIS, THIS ONE DOES) and paint the area that you just cut out I'll send you the DDS for you to use/look at to learn but there is a small missing body area so uploading as a mod would be irresponsible right now. Also, are you trying to remove the front metal too or just the the hips?
  6. @AJJC That's where I am stuck now too I got the armor the way I want it, however, there where missing sections of body under the armor parts I removed. If I manage to figure it out or get info from another thread I'll let you know.
  7. There's hole cause there's no body. You can add one by opening the body mesh (femalebodyastrid_#.nif for a complete female body, malebody_#.nif for the male one, but there's holes under the underwear area) and the armor one in nifskope, renaming the root node of the body mesh with the name of the root node of the armor (normally the name of the file), and then, copy/paste branch of the body from one nif to another. Gilead I have done this and the body shows up invisible. I know there is another step to do to get the body to show up but I do not remember what it was and for the life of me can't find it again do you or anyone know how to fix this?
  8. I am currently working removing all the fur and most of the metal from this armor but I'll take a look at it later.
  9. No one is calling for every existing mod to be changed just please setup new mods to work that's all. All the existing mods are just textures for the most part anyways but later on when we're downloading esp's it will be very helpful.
  10. Yeah, you need the most recent xml file from throttlekitty to open skyrim uv maps
  11. The reason Velexia put this up is because he/she/WE would like to just use NMM to download and install the various mods and if the mod is not pack right the NMM installs the random personal folders which can (no will) get confusing later on. If people do pack the mods right for the NMM there will be far less "your mod don't work right help me" messages from the less experienced or new modders, saving your precious modding time for creating great mods rather than spending time answering the question of how to install make you mod work.
  12. Thanks coming along nicely now. Just got to get nifskope to co-op with me and it don't help you gotta do everything twice XXXXXXXX_0.nif and XXXXXXXX_1.nif (at least that is my assumption anyways)
  13. What I did with the UV map was, I moved the parts I wanted to get rid of all into a corner of the image that wasn't mapped to anything. I also blacked out the alpha channel over where I moved them, though if that area wasn't mapped to anything, it might not have mattered. I also may have got lucky that there was a good bit of unused space with that particular texture to move them to. But you only really need to edit the UV map if there's an overlap between parts that you do and don't want to remove. You can fix missing body parts under the armor without blender, I've gotten that to work. You just need to add a full body to the mesh. (There's usually a partial body that you'd be replacing.) That tutorial that I linked above basically shows how to do that. I thought there were issues with adding in meshes from other files. Anyway I am kind of new to this and do not seem to be able to figure out the Alpha stuff do you think you could point me towards a good tutorial? the adding of the body mesh I can do already. @Uzidian Anytime you use nifskope you will be dealing with meshes at least till you surpass my level of experiance
  14. How far out did you move them Clarian? I got three colors Light gray, Gray, and Black I moved from the Light Gray to the Grey and it almost work some parts were invisible but others just got random sections of texture. However when I tried to move them to the black they all got random textures not just from the armor itself but the environment too. And thank you NEO this seems like it is what I needed the Alpha Channel stuff just wasn't working out for me. Edit: BAH! I got enough of the armor to go invisible to learn that there are body parts missing underneath so it looks like I'll have to wait till we can use Blender or some other tool.
  15. No, it says "could not load texture data" I may need to update the nifskope I haven't done that in a while. Anyway, I try that later kind of busy today.
  16. Yeah, you're right about needing blender to remove the parts and if we could do that I wouldn't have needed the help, but I thank you for the info and quick response there is fur under the shoulder pads so I hope I don't run into a problem.
  17. There are already a couple of mods already listed as "More revealing" usually so I know parts of vanilla armors can be removed. My question is how to do it, I want to remove some of the Ancient Nord Armor parts like the shoulder pads and the three pieces on the chest to make it more like the lower level Draugr armor instead of the Draugr Wright armor. Any help is appreciated.

  19. Me too! and I have been there for 140+ hours already!
  20. No, you can't, because there's no dialog for Bosmer and Kahjiit for marriage. You can't marry Vex either. There are some characters you just cannot marry like Vex and the traveling Khajiit Merchants which may make the race pretty hard to marry since I think that's pretty much all the non-hostel Khajiit. However, if someone could kindly share how to take screen shots I will post pics of the Wood Elf Wife of mine. Nivern I think is her name (not sure how to spell it) the Wood Elf wife of the fish guy in Riften. (Yes, I stole her from him just to prove a point)
  21. The only thing a shout has done for me is get me arrested I was walking through town with the ice form accidentally hit the button freeze a guy no real harm done but off to pay my fine I go. It is funny to have a bear running at you while standing on a cliff, you freeze them and let physics take over.
  22. Yes it will the just will not speak to you, the text menus will still come up.
  23. Nether of these are vanilla followers so I don't have pictures to look at and I do not remember meeting them.
  24. I can see the Aela and Mjoll looking past the war paint and Lydia IS to this point the best looking, but I want to hold final judgement till I see Annekke Crag-Jumper her pick in the guide shows possibilities but I haven't found her yet.
  25. No, you can't, because there's no dialog for Bosmer and Kahjiit for marriage. use console commands addfac 19809 1 setrelationship player 4 it takes both to be able to marry NPC's that aren't normally marriageable.
