  1. Hi guys! I'm having a similar problem here... I've got a custom item, got it into ck, also defined it as object, can see the preview of it and can place it. but in the actual game it doesn't show up where I placed it... so is it maybe a mistake in the shading of the nif file or maybe some emittance? would someone please take a look and point me to my mistake? thank you! http://uploaded.net/file/9uwugar2
  2. wow thank you !!! if only I knew earlier about this... but never the less I'd like to know if there is a decent tut for making your items with all the needed programs... on youtube there is nothing useful, do we have something like that here?
  3. well, when I put an image (jpg or any other format) of a Hand mirror into inkscape and build a vectorcopy, the program recognizes the different shades of colors in the picture. Like one corner shining a bit brighter than the other. If I import the svg. from the mirror into blender and form a 3d model of it, the different shades get recognized as curves or layers. I would share the screenshots, but somehow "I am not allowed to use this image extension on this community" >< any way I could post the images, so you can see my problem? If you don't know what I mean by curves, this is the video I learned the modelling from 2d to 3d from: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ows2QTiMRPg any suggestions how to do it easier and more precisely?
  4. Hi there! I already watched tons of vids about Blender and Nifskope and what not. I have blender V 2.49b and all the other needed files for importing into skyrim. but my problem is as follows: I am currently making a mod which needs a custom made item for the questline. This item is a hand mirror. I already searched google for a simple picture, imported that into Inkscape, imported that into blender, made a 3d object out of it. but the object gets way to many curves due to the colordifferences in the picture... how can I make a simple 3D hand mirror with all the progs I got? I spent hours of trying to solve my problem by just fiddling around and looking on the internet but there are just tuts how to model houses, weapons, armors... not custom items >< If there is someone who might want to help, I really would appreciate that... I just want to know a way to do it, not that anyone else does my work... thank you!
  5. Hi gals n' guys, I've got a question for you: as you all know it is possible to give male characters a female voice and viceversa. Is it possible to write a script with which a male char would get his male voice back? as some kind of trigger? thanks a bunch in advance :D
  6. I think I solved the problem. for everyone else who encounters similar difficulties: make sure to navmesh the entranceway, too. otherwise any follower won't know that theyre suppossed to spawn beside you.

  8. sorry :D it's difficult to discribe :) of course it shall spawn in the dungeon. but usually it spawns right beside the player, not in the middle of the dungeon. is there a marker with which I can "tell" a follower to spawn at the player?
  9. Hi guys! I'm just creating a cave and test it with my char. unfortunately my follower spawns right in the middle of my cave. how can I prevent that? thank you!
  10. Hey there community! That's my first post here so please be gentle :D I just began to make my first mod, a short quest which hopefully will be enjoyable... I really would like one of the experienced members here take a look at my dialogues and tell me, if it is any good. if so, I#d be veeery happy if there were some peeps who would give my chars their voice :) when it's done, you will indeed be mentioned in the credits.
