  1. To my dismay I discover that FSM Body Textures Redux have been deleted from the Nexus. I'm halfway through finalizing my mod list for the next playthrough and some of my presets rely on this mod. Before I start redoing everything, does anybody know of a backup copy somewhere to download. Much appreciated.
  2. Got this sorted out with able assistance of the moderator over at the S.T.E.P. website. The Fallout4_Default.ini in the Game Directory is basically a copy of the default fallout4.ini. I populated my empty ".ini" file with the data and used BethInI to set up and manage my .ini files through the ini path setting (via the MO2 profile route as recommended). All three .ini files are populated correctly in the MO2 INI Editor, and that is sufficient for me. For now the game with the fixes and a few core mods (Unoffical Patch, MCM etc), seem to run stable. I will do the textures etc tonight, and see where we get.
  3. After noticing a slow but sure decline in my gaming experience I decided to do a clean install of Fallout 4. On the the first run of the game to create the .ini files I received a notice that Fallout 4 does not recognize my graphics card and all settings are reverted to low quality. I accepted that and proceed with setting the parameters to "Ultra" and exit the game launcher. When I opened the newly created .ini files, I found the Fallout4.ini literally void of data except for this one entry: [Display]sD3DDevice="NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti" In the same directory (Documents\My Games\Fallout 4) The Fallout4Prefs.ini contained the settings I selected during the initial set up procedure. However, in the game directory (G:\Games\Steam...\Fallout4\Fallout4 I found another Fallout4Prefs.ini file created a few minutes after the .ini file in the "My Games" directory with the "low quality" settings: for example:Fallout4Prefs. ini in "My Games" Directory:[Display]...iShadowMapResolution=4096iDirShadowSplits=2uiShadowFilter=3uiOrthoShadowFilter=3iAdapter=0iSize W=2560iSize H=1440bFull Screen=1bBorderless=1 Falout4Prefs.ini in Fallout4\Fallout4 Directory:[Display]...iShadowMapResolution=2048iDirShadowSplits=3uiOrthoShadowFilter=2uiShadowFilter=2bBorderless=1bFull Screen=0iSize H=720iSize W=1280 and many others... My questions are:1. How to populate the Fallout4. ini file with the correct parameters?2. Why two different Fallout4Prefs.ini files? I am not sure which one the game is using. Should they be similar, since I have not noticed the difference before.
  4. Have been using MO as from forever, and NMM to some extent. I have been modding my games since Oblivion and FO3, and did so extensively. "Clicking-and-running" is probably not my preferred style of modding, I prefer a more deliberate and thought out approach. (not that "clicking-and-running" is not a valid style of modding). Since the alpha release of Vortex I have been running it on a 32- bit, and a 64-bit play-through of TESV and FO4. Learning the Manager and looking at how it handles heavy modded games in both environments. I'm impressed. There are of course niggles, but the deeper I dig into Vortex, the more I am surprised - pleasantly so. Indeed a worthy successor to both MO and NMM. Your experience entirely depends on how much you are willing to learn and experiment at this point.Great job guys. I really like what I am seeing. Keep up the good work.
  5. I just started a new game specifically to play Rigmor of Bruma and Beyond Skyrim Bruma. Other than those two mods and the patch for BS Bruma, I just have the Unofficial SSE Patch loaded - everything is stock standard vanilla. I completed the main quest line up to the start of Diplomatic Immunity, mainly to level my skills a little before I venture off with Rigmor. Went to River Wood, talked with Baa'Ren-Dar and set off to Angi's camp. Just past Helgen the game CTD. Went the other way past the Lake View Manor location, turn to Falkreath. Just passe the "roadside ruin" the game CTD. Went even further west pass the Glenmoral witches's cave and turn in for Falkreath - Same issue, CTD. Desperate at this point I used the console command "coc angiscampexterior" - CTD. I disabled Beyond Skyrim Bruma and the patch. With only "rigmor" loaded, same issues at same locations. I disabled Rigmor, and with no other mods (except USSEP) active, I had the same results. I then went back and verified my files on Steam. Of course all the edited Master Files where no "dirty" again. Without cleaning the Master Files with SSEedit and without activating the two mods, I made clear run to Angi's Camp with no CTD instances. Activated the two mods and the patch, and where able to play without any issue. Are there any advice on cleaning Master Files or not with SSEedit if I want to continue playing the character? After I finish Rigmor and BS Bruma I want to continue playing the main quest together with "Legacy of the Dragonborn, but are not so sure how that mod will work with dirty Master Files.
