  1. That's the problem. I've created a weapon in the creation kit and get it in the game. If I create a non-enchanted weapon, I can enchant it in game, but the weapon does not show up in the list when I go to smith it. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks.
  2. I'm finding that I cannot improve a weapon that I have created in the creation kit. These weapons do not show up when I try to smith. I cannot remember, but I thought I could do it in past. Could some mod affect this? I did have the Complete Crafting Overhaul, but have deleted it. Any response would be appreciated. Thanks.
  3. Answering my own question. Elys Uncapper has an .ini file that allows how skills are managed. Personalize your game has you like it. Check it out.
  4. I want to create a mod where these skills advance without leveling the character so much. The idea is to gain more experience for the individual skill, but the experience added to the overall player advancement is less. Would someone please tell me which scripts affect experience gained for these skills. Thanks.

  6. Lately, most of the time when I try to load an exterior into the render window, it is not loading correctly. A generic landscape loads no matter which exterior I pick. Anyone have an idea how I can fix this? Thanks.

  9. How do you make a magic effect? In the kit, when trying to change a duplicated spell, the "casting" and "delivery" options are dimmed out. I'm trying to create a soul trap/destruction spell, also. Thanks for any help. Edit: Figured it out. Thanks.

  11. Appreciate your answers. When I saw need a dragon soul message, I was just giving up. After clicking "ok" and hitting "r", it worked. My bad. Thanks, folks.
  12. I found where others could not absorb dragon souls, but nothing to do with my problem. I can absorb dragon souls. I show two of them, however when I go to activate a shout, I get a message about needing a dragon soul to activate. Anyone else have this problem, and more importantly, what do I need to do about this? Thanks for your help.
  13. UPDATE: The only thing I've been able to change is the number of pieces of ore you get at a time. Still working on the number of strikes needed. Also, I seem to hit a max of 30 hits before vein is depleted, no matter what the other variables are. Anybody got any ideas? Thanks.
