  1. I'll finally be able to move on to the next phase within my mod. Hopefully I can get my tutorial for it out here in the next month or so. Thanks again ghosu. I could have sworn I did everything right but probally in the process of double checking and redoing it I must of messed things up bad.
  2. There is just the cowl in the plugin. So If you have to redo everything that's unfortunate but I would immensely appreciate it. My email is [email protected]. So if you finish it tomorrow send the files there. I'll give you kudos for this and let you use this as you please as well. I will credit you and all the work your doing for me.   3. So what was wrong with it because I thought I had it all correct. Did you have to redo everything on it?

  6. Ok so what I did was I took the model skin wrapped it to a male head model and copied both its skeleton and dismemberment data from that. I then brought it over to nif scope added the texture and changed out it following a tutorial. Then went into the creation kit and created both a armor and armoraddon for it and it then appeared "in game" just you could walk through it and for some reason you couldn't wear it when added into inventory through console commands. So its just like a pretty decoration you can walk-through and can't wear or anything. I've had two others take a look at it and they had no success. So If you know what your doing and want to just use the model and do everything from scratch that be great because as I said two others looked at it and had no idea why it wasn't working. I followed everything properly just doesn't work right.

Ya I'll be honest the thieves guild quest line and dark brotherhood were my two favorite things about oblivion and so I wanted to bring back Nocturnal's Cowl and later do another mod that I'm keeping tight lipped on but it'll involve more glorious assassinations. I have a couple pictures for my mod so if anyone wants to see what I got going for them here's what I got but its far from done. These pictures are from the tutorial for the mod that I will be releasing hopefully relatively soon. All depends on support I get and my job lol.
  8. I am currently working on the story of the mod hoping eventually I can get the cowl in game to be wearable. I'll be releasing a short tutorial here on nexus for my mod so people can get a feel for what lies a head so far its just me and one other person working on this and we both are very busy so its coming by slowly if anyone else wants to help out pm more then willing to have some help. My short tutorial is almost in beta for release as of now just wanted to work out some kinks before posting it up please look forward to it.
  9. I am currently working on the quest mod for it. But it is pointless unless someone can help me make it so you can actually wear the cowl. However once I'm done with my quick short tutorial for the mod I will release it as an example of my work. Hopefully then I can get enough publicity to get someone to help finish the cowl for me since try as I might I can't seem to get it to work properly in game. :confused:
  10. Nocturnals Cowl I already have a model of Nocturnal's cowl I took from the bust of the grey fox. I just need help with bringing it into skyrim. I tried to follow a set of tutorials but with no luck. I have gotten as far as to get it in the game. But you can walk through it and you can't pick it up and wear it. So I am lost I need someone to take this file and get it into the game somehow because I've asked two others and they got stumped too. So if you know what your doing pm me I'll send the file over and give you credit for making the cowl when I post up my mod. :thumbsup:
  11. That is a lot easier you just have to edit the spells effects and that in the creation kit and call it another name.
  12. Alright So I believe I set everything up properly. I skin wrapped it and textured it, I believe, but when I went into creation kit my model wasn't among the list so I must have done something wrong love to get help with this. Sigh. :wallbash: Nvm... lol now my problem is you can't pick it up And It will add into your inventory but when you wear it doesn't show up. But It'll show up if you drag and drop it in the creation kit but it just like an object you can walk through. No way to pick it up just to look at.
  13. Honestly I'm interested to help out but I have my own mod to finish first. But when I get frustrated with mine I suppose I could lend a hand. :thumbsup: I believe there could have been so much more to black-reach I mean when I saw it for the first time I was like wow I'm making this my desktop background lol. It's to bad its hardly used just looks really cool.
  14. Hey everyone reading this I'm creating a mod where you obtain the cowl and need some help with the cowl. It Won't have the blue writing though :( I have a rough model of the cowl the I took from the bust of the gray fox. However I need it textured (since when I view in .nif its just plain white compared to textured in .3ds formats) and skin wrapped to the head models I can't seem to figure it out myself I'll gladly email the files to anyone willing to help thanks in advance. :thumbsup:

So I have a trigger that is set to default self activate and then the scene is supposed to start problem is the characters I placed there aren't even there for some reason I tried giving them all sorts of different packages to make them at least in the vicinity but they are not. Not sure why. I was think perhaps I would have to teleport them into the scene from another cell perhaps instead then I wanted one of them to resurrect a ghost of a person. My second problem is probably simpler just didn't think of it.Originally I wanted a earthquake rumble sound and rocks to fall from the ceiling. When I tried to get it to work the rocks would become enabled but hover over the area I had to shoot an arrow at each one to make them fall. And the sound didn't play so I tried another way and it wouldn't compile. this is what I have that works. The rubble parts is the entrances being blocked off the rocks falling I took out because they didn't fall.   16. Oh my wow I'm dumb thank you I found it. And deleted it can't believe I didn't of that. It works like a charm now. It was a duplicate trigger event that was giving me grief.

When I load my mod in the creation kit I get an error saying Masterfile: primitive with zero extents encountered for reference 01016756 And when I play my mod the game crashes the main area it take place. I thought perhaps it was an alias reference it was referring too so I deleted a bunch of them but the error still appears. Could it perhaps be in one of my fragment scripts or something? I tested my mod the day prior and it worked fine and I saved and quit the kit but now I'm getting this error every time I load my mod. Just my mod.

Yes I Don't see how it would not be possible with my experience with scripting its possible to set it after a certain event you could most likely create a scene when entering the room where he would say his line and then you can set a script so you can then talk with him. a tutorial for making scenes or go to the bethesda area and veiw what they say.
  19. I'm actually Making A mod For obtaining the mask of the gray fox so If anyone still reads this and wants in or has a The Cowl's model It'd be appreciated.
  20. A mod where you create a gate of oblivion and can traverse the treacherous planes of oblivion and conquer Daedric lords possibly even ruling their own kingdoms. Still in thought process But Would require a lot of work. This Would be sometime after learning the Daedra summon spell where you can summon the daedra lord and talk to him about where he is from then ask how you can visit there. Something along those lines.
