  1. Hello! A few days ago I posted a thread on the Request page looking for people to help me build and add more Warhammer 40k weapons and armor to Fallout 4. As I expected, I received no comments. I didn't have much hope for peoples interest but I tried anyhow just to be sure. But anywho! Even with the lack of feedback or interest, I will not give up! I will continue to build models despite my 'Novice Modeler' status and continue to update this thread with my progress with the hope that someone will eventually pity my poor naive soul and offer help. XD So without further ado. Here is what I have so far! An early stage Bolter, one of quite a few different designs I am going to model because I do want some variety. This one is pretty rough and im really not entirely happy with it. But we'll see. WAAAAAAGH! Gon blast'n dem Space mahreens wit'me Shoota! This is my latest, an Ork Shoota. The Ork weapons are something I really love just because of how fun and chaotic they are. I can totally see the super mutants using something like this. I love how the barrel turned out but the base needs more work...and honestly might redo the grip section. But yeah, that's what I've got and I'll come back soon with another update. Either an update to one of these two or a new model entirely. <3
  2. As I expected, I didn't get any replies from anyone. So I am just adding in one more to attempt at gaining some interest. This will be my last attempt as I don't wish to bump a thread. The next time I post a thread it will be on on 'Mod Talk' section. Even if I don't gain any interested parties for this work I will continue to work on models and make updates on all the weapons and any other items I will create. I have already started work on different kinds of bolters, and that will be most of the updates for awhile. This has been my work so far. Like I said, I am only a novice. So its not hyper high quality but it might still generate some interest. Thank you for listening!
  3. Hello Fallout 4 Nexus community! I have recently become obsessed with Warhammer 40k. And after playing in Fallout 4 for several hours roleplaying as the imperial fist using those fantastic Space Marine power armor mods. I realized that there really isn't enough 40k mods. Fallout 3 had a huge 40k conversion mod that was brought into New Vegas and those were fantastic. But with the updated graphics those armor and weapons wouldn't really look very appealing. So I'm attempting to put together a team/group that will focus on adding some of the coolest stuff from warhammer 40k into Fallout 4. I'm a bit of a novice modeler, but with 40ks particular artstyle I think I can iron out most of the models but I would need help with textures and implementing the items into the actual game. Which is probably not the best start but its worth a try I would say. This is one of my older models, an attempt at a Death Korps Lasgun. I plan to redo it but I thought it looked pretty decent, I hope I can get some interested members! I think this would be a fantastic project that could lead to something larger scale. :D
  4. After seeing the movie "Rogue One", one of the new things it added to the canon was the "Shore Trooper" (Pictured below). After nerding out on how awesome of a design it was in my opinion. A thought occurred to me. It gave me an eerily strong Brotherhood of Steel vibe. Which gave me the idea that it would make a great armor re-placer for the BOS Infantry. In addition, as I continued to formulate this idea and thought up design plans for modeling it. I also came to the idea that the standard BOS power armor, the T-60, could easily be re-placed with an awesome star wars version of its own. This being none other than, the "Dark Trooper"! And all of this lead to where I am at now. My idea is a full Star wars overhaul of Fallout 4. All of the weapons would be replaced with a variety of blasters and slug throwing weapons, while the factions are given their own star wars re-skins. The BOS would be a sort of Imperial Off-shoot. Because I don't particularly enjoy the stormtrooper set, I would go more for the Shoretrooper set to be the infantry standard. The Paladins would be in the Dark Trooper power armor colored in Silver while BOS officers/legendaries would either be in a black painted Dark Trooper power armor or Legendary infantry would be clad in the "Death Trooper" set from rogue one. The Minutemen would be our Rebellion of course. Clad in custom star wars battle armor with their laser muskets replaced with cheap blaster rifles of some kind. The Gunners would be our Mandalorians! Par Manda'yaim! Outfitted with more of a customizable mandalorian set, the Gunner plaza housing their leaders such as their own Mand'Alor. The Institute would be our Sith faction. The gen 1 and 2 synths replaced with battle droids, Coursers replaced with Sith of varying ranks, and the way up to father who is their Emperor Palpatine of sorts. And the raiders would obviously be reskinned as tusken raiders . All of this is just sort of an idea i've been formulating that would really make another run through fallout 4 interesting and fun in my opinion. Tell me what you think! Maybe this can turn into something greater or just crash and burn. I am interested to know.
  5. I can make models for it to if need be, but I haven't learned how to texture yet and it would have to be rigged to the Fallout: NV character rig. This one could be used as a Military space suit of some kind http://i.imgur.com/EqkkiwD.png
  6. Converting from Sketchups is a pain tho. But yeah they could have some pretty good models for it.
  7. THAT is a great idea! I love that...and would make a REALLY good freakin twist in the story line when the player finds out what he/she is.
  8. Hehe, No it doesn't. I love your explanation as-well. One of the Factions being "The Core" run by this Hive mind of sorts. The other factions would most likely see this as an "Evil" thing, taking away our humanity or something, and be trying to fight against "The Core" and their beliefs, while the reality is that "The Core" and its hive mind are just misunderstood and are better off how they are than the other factions. Depending on which one you choose to side with determines the outcome of the Moon and its lunar surface.
  9. I don't think so. After 200 hundred years of it helping them survive, building their city to accommodate more people as the citizens reproduced, I would think that a lot of people would probably worship it. Things change as things go on, peoples thoughts and feelings towards certain things shift as years go by.
  10. What I'm starting to think is that it would go more the route of the colonies, the different settlements and factions...but involve this aswell. It would be implemented sort of like...well how we started out with the idea is that these people have been up there for a long time, since before the war. What I would think is that this sort of colonization would of course have a science division, and in their first years on the moon..these scientists created this Hive brain to be their HUB of information of their new world order. Sort of like the CIA and NSA wrapped into one. But not to long after they created it, the thing became too intelligent and over the years it has built its army of droids as a sort of construction and police force for the colonists...all settled into one of the factions inside of their lunar city..lets just call this faction "The Core" for now. This Hive Mind is the founder of "The Core" and the leader of its cities people. Many Core citizens worship the Hive mind as a deity of sorts, similar to how The Church of atom saw a bomb as theirs. The Hive mind is a gentle and caring being, protective of its citizens and their city...guarding them and their streets with the Hive Minds auto troopers. Please...tell me if Im gong to far with this XD
  11. Haha. Oh..hey. Or maybe it could be kind of like a conversion mod. You have to start a brand new character but this one already lives on the moon. And he/she goes through the story like that. The player would at some point meet explorers from earth, either helping or fighting them and such.
  12. Alright, so we have tons of ideas on how the Courier gets there. But what about ideas of how the story goes while your on the Moon. What would be the main conflict? Are their any main villains or is it just all the lunar factions have their goods and bads. We need to get some good story arcs going to add on to what we already have, just to give as much help to whoever picks this concept up and puts it into gear.
  13. Hmm. That would be interesting. A very nice throw back to the older fallouts and would be a lot more lore friendly.
  14. It would be interesting to see. Only problem is the mod author would have to make the earth portion pretty short and sweet because a lot of the programming would be going to be the moon region, included with its own world map, location and its markers, moonwalk, weapons, characters, voice overs, yada yada. The section in finding the base and being briefed would have to be...well..BRIEF. In my opinion of course...
  15. That is what we have discussed, the BOS or other would gain the signal from the lunar colonies and would work to get up there. Later on hiring the courier to be part of their exploration team. And yes the underground colonies on the moon would have simulated gravity but when the player is sent outside to travel to different colonies then putting on a suit and equipping a space ready gun before jumping into moonwalk combat mode would be fantastic. And yeah...the NCR, BOS, or Enclave remnants could have found this Area 51/Groom lake facility and are using its equipment to get there.
