  1. That was pretty good, but IMHO Nuka Break is the best fan film made so far. It's more New Vegas than Fallout 3, but it still captures the game perfectly.
  2. I haven't ran into those at those locations but I have ran into them at the Jefferson Memorial, where the door leads to the sub-basement (after completing the mission). It walked through it once and ended up porting somewhere else in the game. I've played through FO:3 at least 20 times and encountered this about 3 times at the same location.
  3. My thought exactly. I hate when I re-play Fallout 3 and the 3rd person view is sort of off to the left side (over the shoulder view), then all of a sudden when I least expect it, the character is now out in front-center. At that point I'm like, "Yes, i can now see her butt". :) Looks nice in Ranger Green or leather. Not so nice in armor :( *** Edit **** My bad. I thought I was replying to a Fallout 3 discussion, not Skyrim. Crap.
  4. These two, IMHO, are there strictly to recover the suit and armor to display using the Mannequin mod, LOL. I couldn't pick pocket the Samurai successfully so I had to kill him once I completed the mission, however, his armor is forever immortalized as a trophy in my Vault 1 display (right next to Vance and Tennpenny). :)
  5. I didn't think this "test" even mattered because once you start playing the game you're too busy shooting ghouls, dogs, mole rats, etc. to think about what your "job" is supposed to be. I normally select the response to skip the test and then make adjustments to SPECIAL right before I leave the Vault.
  6. I remember trying to sign up or trying to play this but never continued for some reason. You have to pay to play, right? Now I remember, I got through the character creator, walked down the character down the hallway, got bored and then turned the game off and put FO3 back in and played that for 12 hours straight.
  7. I play FO3 using my HTPC and a projector. Up until a few months ago I had a 3D projector (Optoma GT720) using Nvidia's 3D Vision. Playing on such a large screen (150") I found that the game doesn't really need to be in 3D, but the depth of field via Nvidia 3D Vision was pretty incredible; However, over time, wearing the shutter glasses can strain the eyes and give a bit of a claustrophobic feeling on my head. Unfortunately my GT720 bit the dust so I'm saving up for a new 3D projector and I have to use my Epson non-3D PJ, but at least this one is full-HD @ 1080p, as opposed to the Optoma which was only 1280x720. I just found out about these mods (and the Nexus Forums) so I would like to one day play this game using Fellout & 3D - as Fellout will correct the color issues (an perhaps make it a more enjoyable experience? Not that the yellow-green was bad, but if this isn't the "true" color, then hey, why not?) I was wondering if anyone else plays FO3 or FO:NV in 3D?
  8. Double Dragon. That's the only game that I was able to beat with one quarter. Oh, and Gyruss as well. :)
  9. Wrestler masks, like the old "Kane" mask or one of Rey Mysterio's masks would be cool.
  10. Man, I had problems playing Fallout 3 when I had a Q9300 OC'd and 8GB of ram, with a GTX460 (and later GTX460 in SLI). Your card and CPU isn't up to spec to run this game. Once you get a faster CPU, you'll have no problem running this game, even with a lower grade video card (which I don't recommend if you'd already upgraded the CPU).
  11. Just make a copy of the "data" folder (and other folders like the Fallout3 folder under Documents\Games --- where your "saves" are located) to another folder or directory on your HDD. After uninstalling and re-installing, copy that folder over the existing new folder.
