  1. Thanks bben46 I appreciate the information. Semper fidelis!
  2. I just started using mods when Fallout 4 came out and though I had some trouble getting started the results were very much worth it, a big thanks to all the modders out there. Now I'm dealing with V1.5 and frankly I'd rather stick with NMM than go 'corporate'. I have two questions. First, what is LOOT for and how do I use it? Second, how do I get my mods to automatically update when a new version comes out? I have my settings set to check for updates every three days, is that just for NMM? Is there something involving profiles that I'm unaware from? Thanks!
  3. Okay that worked, but what an aromatic pile of fertilizer. I have to do that every time I start the game and it now marks the new saves with a [M]. I hope they sort this out, I don't like to have to jump through hoops. Thanks for your help bluesunmerc!
  4. As with others with problems with V1.5 I've lost function for True Storms and Spring Cleaning. I am not signed up to be a beta tester. The following appears when I try to start a pre v1.5 save... The save relies on content that is no longer present. Some objects may no longer be available. SpringCleaning.esm TrueStormsF04.esp TrueStormsF04ClimateSettings.esp SC_ExpandedScrapList.ESP Though this message does not appear on post v1.5 saves the above mods do not function. I've deleted the mods completely and reinstalled them and tried starting Fallout 4 from the NexusModManager but have not been able to get these mods to work. True Storms was updated on April 28 but still doesn't work. Is there a work around or will this be fixed with an update?
  5. I very new to modding. I just read that Bethesda has released v1.4.124 beta which includes official add on(mod) support. I've been using a number of mods, mainly texture enhancements. What does Bethesda's official add on support mean for the modding world and for me?
  6. A beginners question. A couple of mods I'm using have a flag indicating that there is an updated version available. The 'Check for Mod Updates' button doesn't seem to install the indicated updates. How do I do this using NMM? Do I uninstall the mod by right clicking on it and then install the new version or is there a more direct way? Thanks.
  7. Okay I've uninstalled the mod by right clicking, selecting 'Uninstall or Delete' then 'Delete mod(permanently & Uninstall). I then used NMM to reinstall the mod. Thanks for the help!
  8. Sorry I really am new at this. NMM gives me the option to disable a mod but I can't find out how to uninstall it. When I reactivate the mod I get a success note but no option to adjust the mod. I do see an option to uninstall all mods, should I use this?
  9. Tried redownload using NMM, it asked if I wanted to overwrite a file and then after completing it stayed in the Download Manager. Also tried disabling the mod then reenabling it. I'm quite inexperienced at mods so I'm a bit lost.
  10. Late last week I installed the True Storms mod and during installation I was prompted to select different types and degrees of effects. I went for a very mild effect change but having played it for a while I'd like to adjust the settings. How do I do that? The only adjustments I can find is in the audio settings for effect volume.
  11. Hello again. Well this morning there was still no HBAO+ but I just got home this afternoon and there it was. Go figure.
  12. Just installed Vivid Fallout, True Storms and Improved Map using NMM on an otherwise clean Fallout 4 v1.3 and found that the HBAO+ option is gone. This is the first time I've modded a game and it took me awhile to figure it out. The other issue is that MSI Afterburner data no longer will appear on my game screen but this is no issue because I generally have that data displayed on my cellphone. I think the game looks a lot better with the mods but I wanted to at least report the problem and ask if there is anything I might be able to do to get HBAO+ back.
  13. Hello everyone, this is my first post on this forum. What I would love to have is a jukebox that could play any music on my computer. I'm the kind of player who spends a lot of time at my home base tinkering. It would be great if I could go to my jukebox and load up a little Glenn Miller 'In the mood' to sooth my nerves while I'm trying to get the wiring right or get that pesky stairwell to turn green. Cheers!
