This isn't exactly a helpful post, but...
Mostly, the only benefit from modding Bethesda games will be the experience you get from creating/editing models and textures.
However, I think that using and learning the script editors(SKSE, OBSE, NVSE, FOSE) might be beneficial to what your wanting.
Aside from that, you can try to find free first person game source code online and experiment with that(I haven't really found any).

I remember running across a mod that added the executioners robe (The armor the executioner from helegen wears) as light armor, but now I can't find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I'm not sure if you have tried, but I believe this is the place to find mods that exist already.

I wanted to put my favorite quotes and such in shouts, could someone get me blank shout files in their correct folder structure?
I'm asking for blank ones because I am unsure if it's allowed to upload the default files.
Also could someone tell me what the new shout files requirements are?
Like file format, duration, rate, etc.
Thanks in advance.
Also, is it okay to upload quotes from TV?
I just want to know if I ever wanted to upload it.

I'd like the current Keening to be replaced with this one please.
It looks better here in my opinion since it's a blade made of what appears to be metal.
Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure if this was already a mod or in a mod.
On to the request:
I was wondering if someone could make a mod that uses telekinesis' animation, but have it grab people, and then have it cause damage during the time you're holding them.
Basically a telekinesis choking spell.
Thanks in advance.

I'd like to request a mod that randomly has NPCs fighting each other in random places.
The NPCs I'd like fighting each other are all except the NPCs that cause you to have a fine when you kill them.
I'm mainly asking for this because I found that after all the quests are over you don't get to fight in larger scale battles often.
I'd be happy if someone could at the least consider creating this mod.
Also, just in case it was going to be mentioned, I don't want to spawn enemies via the console.
Thanks for reading.

I was thinking about how improved Skyrim's mechanics are, and I thought maybe someone could make a Fallout overhaul that takes advantage of the new mechanics such as sprinting, the new camera, the new UI, the new map, dual wielding, etc.

Can someone please make a mod in the style of this replacer mod from Morrowind?

Also maybe if not that could someone make the armor and weapons from this picture please?

Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to use the dragon shouts unavailable to the player via console or mods, e.g. Alduin's shouts, or are they scripted events?
-
Having an arena might actually work for multiplayer as it shouldn't be as resource eating, should also have a trading building if this gets done(if possible to do this in the first place.)
-
1.) The amount of memory that would be involved in having all the content available for users to interact with all the time would not be possible. Its just too much content for your computer to store, maintain.
I'm pretty sure the topic creator just wants them to walk through the door, it's not like he's saying to get rid of the loading for buildings.
This seems like it would be pretty easy to create when the Creation Kit and possibly SRSE gets released.
You just have to edit the portal to go back behind the door, keep the door mechanics and change the NPC's orders to make him walk forward after opening the door.
As for the portal, it could be the ones like caves where you go through by walking not pressing the E key.
If I'm wrong please correct me lol.

Well I was playing Skyrim and listening to my housecarl's statements and it reminded me of Fate/Stay Night's Saber:

Could someone replace Lydia with Saber?
Also could someone replace the elf that teaches you archery with Archer from the same show/game as above?

Also possibly replace Mercer Frey(Thieves' Guild) with Robin Hood(Fate/Extra)?

Hi, i wanna make a simple mod that changes the sound of the first shout (the 3 words) so when you use it will say THIS - IS - SPARTA with the original 300 movie voice from leonidas xD. anyone can tell me a few tips to do this and the program/programs needed?
THX 4 read this.
BioClone
I think you should post this in mod talk instead of requests unless you plan on having someone create this for you, it might get more responses.
-
I think that an Acrobatics Skill Tree should be added containing this as a perk.
(Hope that this isn't off-topic lol, if it is sorry)
-
This is probably a stupid request(also a cheating one), but could someone make a mod that puts 100% reduce shout cooldown enchantment on a amulet or ring, please?
I know I could just use the commands, but I'd like this more as it feels more permanent lol.
Also I could just use a tutorial if anyone would make one for me telling me how to make the item and add it to the player immediately.

"Well the Deus Ex community seems near dead mod wise...kind of like the Morrowind mod community.
I mean sure a few mods still get released, but they are often minor mods."
You might have missed The Nameless Mod, a huge total conversion for DeusEx that came out a year or so back. The website has a pretty active forum as well. DX1 ain't dead by a long chalk ;)
I heard it was only good for those who are extreme fans of the game.
Also you should note that I said, "I mean sure a few mods still get released, but they are often minor mods."
A year is a long time btw. :pinch:

Deus Ex - Human Revolution came out not too long ago im pretty far into it and i was wondering if modding it will be possible. Ive heard that a toolset hasent come out yet. The devolopers said they denied realeasing one as well as denied that it will not come out. Ive heard a few people have modded it but its hard to find mods for it. The game has lots of room for adding content its a lot of fun and cause use some tweaking. If anyone has any info on this like if there is a mod website or know stuff i dont please let me know.
Thanks
There's tools from what I can tell, but they aren't official.
No one's used them yet from what I can tell.
I would link to them, but I'm not sure if I can link to other sites.
I really enjoyed this game, so I too hope they make a Deus Ex Nexus.
-
i've understand the great "Nexus" as the home of the also great modding-community for Bethesda related games, maybe i'm wrong but thats my serious understanding of the nexus, Crysis (a totally different engine) has it's own huge community+pages, DeusEx also, pls leave them there they are and concentrate at this why we are here - Morrowind / Oblivion / Fallout / New Vegas / Dragon Age i think here's the right place for it.
Or do you want some Quake 1 or Unreal / Unreal Tournament - Classic or Doom I + II modding pages here? adding some ogre-pages? if this is the case (becomes real) i'll instantly leave for life-time. I hate "eierlegendewollmilchsäue"!
LG Raoul.
Well the Deus Ex community seems near dead mod wise...kind of like the Morrowind mod community.
I mean sure a few mods still get released, but they are often minor mods.
Also Dragon Age is Bioware, The Witcher is CD Projekt Red Studio.
I don't see why you would agree to that, especially since they are 3rd person and not Bethesda games, yet not agree to a 1st person Stealth-RPG like Deus Ex.
@Sulo, I lol'd. :biggrin:

I'd have liked TESV to take place in Somerset Isle(don't know if that's the name) or the Akvir continent(again, not sure if that's the name).
Skyrim's fine though.

I'm not sure if you know more about this than me(I know very little=nothing)(this isn't an insult), but is this problem happening because of the fact that the file comment sections on the individual Nexuses don't have the emoticon feature in it's own editor?
Maybe this could be solved by adding the function?
-
If you add a comment in a mod's thread - using go to forum thread --
it works fine,
Now add emoticons to this reply
then go back to the individual nexus and edit your post using the intrinsic editor . . .
the emoticons change into something like this:
<img src='http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nuke.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':nuke:' />
also blank lines seem to triple at the same time. --
It works fine for me.
Is there a space before the emoticon?
Edit: Never mind, I seem to have forgotten the last step.
It seems that when you edit it in the individual Nexus it doesn't recognize the emoticons from the Nexus.

I'm lol at how this topic turned into a joke topic...or did it??
I'm guessing that's a polite way of saying no?
Off-topic: Does that simulator actually have mod tools though?
-
I recently saw a topic that asked for a Dead Island Nexus.
In it someone said the prerequisites for a game to have it's own Nexus page were:
1. It must have official modding tools
2. Dark0ne has to like the game
Now, I'm not sure whether or not Dark0ne likes Crysis, since it's not an RPG, but I'm pretty sure it has modding tools, mods, and a modding community.
I personally don't play the game(afraid my laptop will burn), but I figured, that it would be nice to have more games on the Nexus.
The problem that I see though, is that Dark0ne probably has to pay more to have more mod content on the sites which is probably why prerequisite 2. is there.
Also, I believe the Deus Ex(the first) SDK that made the game was officially released a long time ago.
So maybe we could get that as another Nexus site?
Perhaps even better mods will/could be made for it with a great modding community such as the one one the Nexus.
Thanks for reading, and hopefully this will be at the least considered.

The helmet does look cool though. Dosent look very fallout lore freindly though...
Really? I thought it looked pretty lore-friendly considering this looks similar in appearance to the Chinese Stealth Suit(I hope no one makes this based on it...)
I think you could add lore around it if this is made, just like Operation Anchorage for Fallout 3 made the Stealth Suit and Winterized Combat Armor lore-friendly.
I hope that someone will create this and maybe give it a more worn look though.
How to Lose Your Head without Fighting?
in Skyrim LE
Posted
I saw a gamesave where someone had lost their head fighting(?), and I was wondering is there some way to edit my character to not have a head permanently like that save?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.
