I've discovered the problem. When I deleted the automatic history remember in the url box, where I used to just type ; sky and the url of http://skyrim.nexusmods.com//? would automatically come up, and when I went to the bookmark I had from years ago, it had http://skyrim.nexusmods.com//? with some random letters after it. I deleted these entries, logged into nexus again by typing the site manually, then rebooked the site. Closed FF and everything is back to normal. Somehow the bookmark, and the history of sites remembered the site prior to accessing some gateway skyrim site which prompted for the password. Now I've bookmarked after that process it seems to work again. Nothing to do with cookies afterall Thanks all for the help Cheers

Hi Thandal, Using IE10 seems to remember everything. Seems isolated to firefox version 22 and 23, despite have the settings set as I have always had. Everything is remember except the nexus login. I will try delete everything, clear cache, again and see if I can get it to work since I must be something in firefox. Cheers

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have tried everything that Dark0ne suggested, and bben46. I've tried rolling back to Firefox 22, ensured all the cookies are set as suggested, tried adding the exceptions box and allow, unlogged and relogged in, tried all the other nexus sites, cleared cache, re-entered all information, set everything as suggested. Every site on the internet remembers its settings, including this forum, but not a single nexus site remembers my login, even if I go to another page and back without even closing firefox...it straight away makes me unlogged and if I look at the cookie setting, it is always expire at end of session with no option to never expire, despite me selecting it to never expire. I give up. Thanks anyway everyone

Hi Dark0ne, I will try as you suggest when I get home. Everything seems fine on this ipad, which makes me think it is Firefox 23, just very strange how it seems to pick the site I visit the most as the one it doesn't remember ! I'll also try downgrade back to v22 and see if the problem resolves. Thanks for the tips

Hmm very strange. I've tried as you suggested jim_uk, to no avail. I've tried deleting all cookies and passwords, been to my various sites and re-logged in, and all work, including this the nexus forums, but still skyrim nexus is the only site that does not remember the details and every single time opens with me not logged in, and advertisments despite being a premium member. With regards to your questions bben46, I did update my browser to firefox 23 and that has kind of co-incided with this happening, but it would be strange that no other site has been affected. I've made no changes to my AVG 2013, and I'm sorry but don't know what a sandbox is. Kind regards

Hi, as I mentioned I've made no changes to the cookies. They are currently set as follows; Tools / Options / Privacy / Tell sites I want to be tracked / History / Custom Settings for history ; + remember browser history + remember search history + accept cookies from sites + accept third party cookies -> always + keep until they expire -> always When I go to show cookies, and look for the skyrim nexus ones, they actually specifiy to expire at the end of every session, as if the cookie being sent by nexus is telling it to not stay. I think it may be a cookie error on the nexus end. Cheers

The past week everytime I come to skyrim nexus it says I'm no logged in. It is frustrating to have to manually log in every session. No other sites I go to have been affected. I've not changed any settings in my options regarding cookies, or any firewall settings. My ipad remains always logged in, however it is this desktop using win 7 x64, firefox 23, that seems to be the problem. I was wondering if anyone knows why the site fails to remember login details, or is there some new box to check somewhere in the preferences to remember, as when I manually type it in each time, there is no check box, and firefox never prompts to remember either. Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced wind howling constantly even when it is not stormy, and even indoors and caves. I have climates of tamriel and wet and cold installed which are about the only mods I can think of might play with the sound. All my other mods are texture ones. I'm curious if it is possibly due to a mod or a skyrim bug. If I go about 20 saves back the problem is resolved but don't want to have to do that if possible. Cheers

You will definitely want 3gb or more VRAM if you have all the texture mods and run at 2560x1600 . It is very easy to crash my 3gb cards by running out of ram

For each of the feeds, would it be possible to show more than two lines of text then a ( read more) That really pisses me off as you have to click everything to just read an extra line. I find now I just don't read the information as it is too tedious.
