  1. Not sure where to find mod authors who take commissions for BG3 but I would like to commission a set of armor resembling Captain Jack Sparrow's clothes, trinkets and boots as well as a facial mod with his face, hair/bandana and facial hair. With or without the Jacket and hat is fine, but bonus points if you can do both. If you are a mod author capable of this work or know of one who is please comment here.

  3. Okay well I just fixed that part, someone refreshing my settings corrected that craziness, but the original problem is still going.
  4. Just tried re-installing and now it's even more screwed up, if that's even possible. Now when I load through the launcher it crashes to a black screen within seconds. Before it crashes it appears to be rushing through the opening screens.
  5. Every time I try to run Oblivion through OBMM or NMM I get "Application Load Error 5:0000065434". I am running a fresh install of Oblivion through steam with no mods currently installed. The game will only run through the game launcher, not even the original Oblivion.exe is working.
  6. Maybe some of the mechanics from these mods could be implemented. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/20581/?tab=3&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodimages%2F%3Fid%3D20581%26user%3D1&pUp=1 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29312/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D29312%26preview%3D&pUp=1
  7. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/25448/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D25448%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Loving this mod from everything I have seen so far. If you will indulge me for a moment I have an idea for an added feature. I was thinking about the way his mod was described, a "reward" for saving the world. Well with that in mind I was thinking of what would be the best way to receive such a reward from Sovngarde and I was hit with the perfect notion....you die. Stay with me here, I know some of you are going "But I don't wanna die!", to which I reply "Well I do!" Why? Because of the chance to explore what could be an all new questline starting with your death. Think about it, you are the Dragonborn hero that saved the whole world AND Sovngarde, the only thing that would earn you a bigger reward in Sovngarde would be if you were also a Nord! (Which could also be included as a bonus option *wink* ). So wouldn't you think that they would wait to give you this reward in the proper Nord fashion, welcoming you into the gates of Sovngarde with a parade, a feast, an Epic Celebration...once you're dead. From this point you could spend the first part of the quest being shown around your reward, the Halls of Dovahndor possibly by a Dragonborn that has come before you. After you have become well acquainted with your new home and begun to accept your death and your rewards for a hero's life you are interrupted by the sound of great trumpets, similar to those that would have rung when Alduin attacked Sovngarde. Something new now threatens both the world of the living and the halls of Sovngarde, and only you, the Dragonborn can defeat it. It could be Mirak or some branch of the Dragon cult depending on if you have finished Dragonborn or it could be an brand new force of destructive evil created by this quest. In any case the heroes of Sovngarde realize that they have no choice but to send you back the world of the living to combat this evil force. As your task will require you to use ancient artifacts of the Dragonborn found only throughout the Halls of Dovahndor, the Heroes of Sovngarde reluctantly decide to open a gateway that has not been opened for ages, the gate of Monahven Miraad. From this gate you will be able to travel freely between Skyrim and Sovngarde. In addition, from this point on when you die the screen no longer loads your last save but instead you are transported to Sovngarde. Each time that you die you loose all of your equipment but it is not lost for good. While in Sovngarde you will still appear to have all of the items you died with in your inventory, this is because when you died you were buried with all of your belongings so that you could enjoy them in the afterlife. Upon your return to Skyrim the first time you will be asked where you were buried by whomever is opening Monahven Miraad and from here you will be able to choose from any of the Halls of the Dead in Skyrim, the Underforge, The Mage's College, Solstheim, and a few other notable locations. Once you have decided where you were buried you will travel through the gate and appear on the other side at the throat of the world. From here you will be given a map marker for your tomb and you will need to travel to it in order to retrieve your belongings. Once you arrive you will open your tomb to find a mummified version of your corpse wearing your armor with all of your belongings...but is this as easy as it looks? No way. Your corpse has been cursed by the evil you have returned to defeat and become a Dragur. This hideous monster springs from your crypt and attempts to defeat you. There are several options to kill it and retrieve your gear, you could use traps in the area, a spell scroll hidden somewhere in the area or you could pick up a nearby weapon and fight it head on. This Dragur corpse won't have nearly as much strength as the living Dragonborn but it does posses your weapons and Dragon Shouts so you must be cautious. Once you have defeated your corpse you may reclaim your items and begin your quest to search out the evils that desecrated your corpse and threaten to destroy the realms of the living and the dead. This could be a fully voiced, interactive questline that could span between Skyrim, Sovngarde, Solstheim and possibly a few custom world spaces. I am unsure if the mod author has the capabilities on their own to put something of this scale together but as the idea hit me I realized the potential of this player home mod to stretch beyond into something that could damn near be considered an expansion with one of the coolest features ever seen, to go to Sovngarde when you die...and come back. With that in mind I would think that there would be plenty of mod authors that would be interested in helping with such a project and that this could become one of the highest rated mods ever! Please, share your opinions and let me know if this doesn't sound like the most epic and inevitable conclusion for Skyrim. The very thought of adding these features to this mod makes me incredibly giddy! What do you think? I am not very gifted in modding myself but I am more than willing to lend my talents as a voice actor as well as writing the storyline and character dialog. Whatever I could do to see this vision come to life I guarantee you I can and will devote the time to. I'm thinking the proper title for the new mod would be "Dovahndor: Sovngarde Awaits"
  8. I think this could be fairly easily done by an expereinced modder. I am behind this idea.
  9. I second this notion for an Army of Darkness, boomstick wielding, chainsaw slicing Ash mod!
  10. Forgive any ignorance, I have been gone a while, but what happened to the Requiem for a Capital Wasteland mod? Now that I am playing the game again I was hoping to reinstall all of my favorite mods and I had checked not to to long ago and it was still on the site, now it appears to be gone or hidden or something. Is it being worked on or has it been permanently removed?
  11. Upon my request it has been made! Much thanks to Volek! http://newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=44035
  12. I support getting Ulysses as a companion. After I ended Lonesome Road without killing him I thought it would have been really cool to travel the wastes, two couriers delivering the same message.
  13. The Ranger style hat design is probably the best looking in the game yet the only black hat featured is the Desperado which looks absolutely horrible. Could anyone make a Ranger Black Hat? That would look so much better than most anything.
  14. That's what I'm thinking. If its the same as it is now upon release....well than i will consider myself lucky for having gotten the beta and saved 50 bucks. I mean if they were only gonna charge like 20 buck than okay I might pick it up, but at this stage the usual 50-60 is a big no way.
