Hello there, and thanks for checking this out. -Admins, if this topic is in the wrong place or violates anything, please inform me and I shall act. c: So, I've been enjoying mods for some time, especially on Skyrim since it seems far more diverse than many other games. And at some point I became curious of the Creation Kit, spent days worth of research and watching Youtube tutorials and browsing through TESAlliance... I've created a few mods, but they've been relatively small and for personal use. Well, as a creative writer with a vivid imagination I've been noting down details for a mod I'd like to, one day, be able to make and release. And yes, I've been building some of the aspects contained in this mod idea, but I'm not that comfortable with the CK, and there are parts where I am simply clueless. Which is why I've come to ask for help... It's not a "hot chicks", or new armour/weapons mod. It's more of a quest with consequences, romance and betrayal, and an emotional twist. I've spent a lot of time typing the details, what the idea is about, the dialoge lines, locations and the choices for the player. Some of the basic stuff is done, or in the process of being done, in the CK, but now I need help from people with more in-depth knowledge, voice actors, scripters and the like. I'm probably reaching for the stars with such a big project, but our dreams can only become a reality if we find the determination to create them. Even without help I'll still push myself with this, but it would be easier, and more enjoyable, in a group where all our ideas and opinions can be processed and formed to expand on the project - little by little, of course. So, if there's anyone who'd be interested in knowing the full details/idea of the project then please contact me. c: (I don't want to openly say everything about the mod, because it's something I feel very deeply for and I'd be crushed if someone took the idea. Paranoid, maybe. But I've seen it happen before.)

I'm on CDN and have been able to download files fine, until around 20 minutes ago... It gets to the pop-up where the server selection is but instead of being redirected like you all are, I'm getting an error page that "the connection was reset". Tested my internet connection, working flawlessly as always. Checked my antivirus, nothing's changed there... So, any non-premium members have a workaround for this? (No offense to the premium members, but since I'm already on CDN I can't exactly use your workaround mentioned.)

Thank you, I have managed to fix the problem, but another has taken its place. -.- Seems I can not enter soome buildings without crashing to desktop. Sigh. Oh well. Anyway, thank you again!

Hello everyone! I understand this forum is more of a 'throw your ideas out there and hope for the best' kind of thing, but many mod users, such as myself, sometimes have ideas for a mod but have no modding experience. Yes, I'm looking for someone, or more than one person, to help guide me through the modding process and possibly tackle some of the more advanced aspects for me. Yes, I have been reading instructions and watching Youtube videos on how to use the Creation Kit, but I am not of a technical mind and find myself becoming mightily confused within just a few steps. (Sad, I know.) Basically I have an idea for a mod, but unfortunately I can't do it alone. Message me for details, yes? Short but sweet, and straight to the point. :3

Hello everyone, sorry if I make no sense but it's my first time posting and I'm rather nervous. :( I've watched videos on how to add mods to my game (Skyrim) and have had almost no problems, until today. I just don't understand it - I haven't added any new mods for some time now, my game runs smooth between the ocassional lags, which is to be expected and it's nothing major. Today I started a new game, done my usual, but this time decided to join the Companions, all very well and good until I get to the quest Proving Honor - the game runs fine, nothing out of the ordinary, until I collect what I'm supposed to and clear the place out. Sounds fine, right? No. I can't leave the damn place! There's no lag, no stuttering as it goes to the loading screen when leaving the last chamber, but then it will Crash to Desktop. It's happening every time at the same point, and I've tried different exits and the 'coc' thing, and it still crashes me to desktop. I've browsed the web in search of answers, but everything I found doesn't line up with what I'm dealing with - most of them have said not to take a follower (apart from Farkas) in with you, which I don't normally have followers. In other words, Farkas is the only 'follower' with me throughout this quest, and before that I've had none. I can't seem to find the answer to my problem! I have SKSE(?) plus the ini. file which a lot of people with similar problems didn't have. So I just don't understand why this is happening. I played this last week, or the week before, with no problems whatsoever and I haven't downloaded any new mods that I am aware of. And yes, I have used LOOT and TES5EDIT. Can anyone help please? I really don't want to have to uninstall all my mods and the game to re-install the base game without mods. P.S. I even disabled all my active mods just to get through this part, and it still crashed.
