  1. Think SotC will be compatible with F4NV? From what I've seen it seems to be a complete overhaul of almost everything.
  2. Dear god you work fast. Don't forget to take a break.
  3. ^^^ Sarcastically, I would respond by saying yank all the wires. You'll have the best chance at getting the right one that way. Back on topic, will you include any optional settings for resetting the cells? WotC has a similar effect, but isn't perfect [6 hours for normal cells and 24 for cleared I believe]. I have a feeling mileage may vary because of Gamebryo...
  4. Save bloat is going to continue. Some mods will make it worse, some might not effect it at all. WotC and mods like it will most certainly add to it. Even with 215 mods active my current save is sitting at 28MB while one of my vanilla no DLC saves is around 10MB [Horizon, Sim Settlements, WotC to name a few]. In regards to performance, the only noticeable negative is when first loading the save. After that, it's business as usual. Edit: Cleaned up the post. Wrong quote too. Lol.
  5. It sounds like a fun idea, but it would really kill lore. Bloodworms, if anything, would make sense, and hatchlings for the Queen, but considering the already literal armies I face on a daily basis, it may be unnecessary, this coming from the old WotC [also because this game engine already hates itself let alone the extra scripts and spawns mods add]. At the end of the day it's "your" mod, and I have no doubt that it will be anything less than awesome. Really, all I want is a WotC with a little TLC. The extras you are giving us is just icing on the cake.
  6. Don't get me wrong, survival with Horizon 1.4.8 veteran difficulty, WotC, True Storms, and legendary rates double the base, is an absolute nightmare, but that's the way I like my games. If it ever gets to the point where I'm not literally fighting for my life, it gets dull. Lore wise radroaches don't make much sense, but for the sake of gameplay, I feel it would add a degree of challenge to behemoth fights [Personally I vote to include bloodworms, hatchlings, and radroaches as options for the mod for those with DLC and like a little extra in their battles]. As it stands, WotC is the only reason I have to carry tons of supplies at all times. Horizon heavily influences things, but by level 25 to 50 you are nearing demigod status. WotC and the legendary boosts help prevent this. Granted, I heavily favor stealth for outdoors and tend to let the various armies kill each other while picking off the legendaries, and indoors I rely on my boomstick, drugs, and grenades. Game stability is of a concern, but I've finally got it down to 1 crash per 8 hours after joining the dark side [ini configs].
  7. ^^^ This. I second. Maybe a radroach alternate for those without DLC. Mirelurk Queens could spawn a mess ton of hatchlings.
  8. 1: This is covered in the intro documentation in the first post. Simply put yes. While it's unlikely you can ban ghouls from ever spawning anywhere as an example it's very much likely you can increase/ decrease the rates. 2: Considering vanilla Fallout 4 scales enemy levels it should be a pretty obvious answer. That said it's far from perfect. Once a cell is loaded it tends to lock enemy levels to whatever you were when you first entered that cell... There are many guides, mods, and forums on this.
  9. Oh... Well in that case the anticipation is probably killing you as much if not more so than the rest of us. Last time I had to mess with RMA was with my old faithful GTX 780. The first board lacked just about any solder [how in the hell is that possible? lol]. Was a painful 30 day wait but worth it. Love that card and the replacement still runs to this day [albeit I've had to replace the fan]. On that note of all the customer services I've ever had to deal with Nvidea was one of the best. Maybe I just stuck gold and got the one cool guy and not the 10,000 other turds. In any case hope it all works out for the best.
  10. Sounds amazing. Can't wait to see it. Also glad to see you apparently got your rig back up and running.
  11. With the way the game engine works no mod can be truly stable no matter how "lightweight" it is. At least Fallout 4 is far more stable than 3 and NV. God those games hate my current rig. Hell I think they just hated me in general. Off topic but anyways now that SMB92 has taken over the thing is building anew from scratch I have high faith it will turn out great. Not to say WotC is terrible. It just needs a lot of TLC. Personally I would prefer a more randomized script based encounter but placed markers alone for an overall more lively experience would still beat vanilla by leagues. True Storms is the one I usually go back to for the radstorm hoard. It's rather hard to plan for exactly when you will get a radstorm in that case. I tend to get caught while trading water and .38 for drugs/ supplies. When all you have is a baseball bat drugs and a robot slave it can get rough...
  12. This ^^^ I remember True Storms spawning in hoards of ghouls during thunderstorms and god was that epic. Combine that with damage overhauls among a few other mods and it could really mess your s*** up if you're not wearing full suit of sentinel or power armor. The vanilla game never offered a challenge like that. Then along came WotC. Now here's a mod that really made life hell in this game. My only issue with it was the constant CTD from too many scripts (when by itself it was fairly stable after tweaking some settings both the mod and game). God when it worked though it WORKED. Never once had I had to prepare for combat of any kind. A good gun beat stick armor and some drugs and I was set. WotC changed everything though. I literally had to abuse stealth just to have a chance in hell at beating various armies it throws at you every 5 to 10 minutes. I had to count every shot and abuse covers to no end and this was without the damage overhauls and other mods. With those as well it was a dam nightmare. I loved it. Edit: I have no doubt that SotC will not only be an overall improvement to WotC but it will become the very mod that my fellow vets and I need to bring back that spark. If it turns out that I'll have to cut my mod lists then meh so be it. I'll gladly sacrifice beauty for carnage any day.
  13. Well I can't wait to try it out. Edit: I just read the "info" on your first post. Had I read that first I wouldn't even had to ask.
  14. I must admit that I was rather sad after seeing War of the Commonwealth was no longer being updated. However now I am relieved. This mod won't be anything less than amazing. Considering the shoddy engine you have to work with the fact that a mod like this is even possible in the first place is nothing short of incredible. I only wish I could fast forward time to kill the wait. PS. Any idea on how script heavy it will be? The only issues I ever had with WotC was with mods like Sim Settlements that added tons of there own scripts. Sadly it might be a pick an choose and I must say I'll pick a more lively world and higher difficulty over eye candy and city building. We have other games for that anyways.
  15. NMM and it's predecessors have had a good run, but it's time for something new. You can only go so far with old code before it's time to completely overhaul it or start fresh. I feel a fresh start is usually the better option. That said I can't thank the creators enough for these tools. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long, but I understand these things take time.
