  1. I thought it was a good idea as well. And if I knew anything about modding I would do this.
  2. I have this bug too.. I had high quality eyes mod installed and I uninstalled NMM and then updated skyrim to 1.5 when I wanted to play it again.... After that I redownloaded NMM and the high quality eyes mod and no eyes. I know its my fault I just don't know how to fix it.
  3. Its too bad no one is thinking of implementing this.. I thought it would be a great mod.
  4. Amazing collection of ideas here.. someone has to get on this!
  5. Not a bad idea.. maybe a hotkey to hold shift while you click the book to take it.. or pressing E to take it will automatically put it into your inventory without reading it at all.. thus still being Unread.
  6. Cmon guys! No author thinks this is a good idea?
  7. Bump, Any authors got time to write this helpful mod? Got a lot of requests so far!
  8. Thanks for the support everyone.. hoping someone will try and take up the project soon. Still looking for an author!
  9. Lets bump this and get an author on this bad boy. Anyone with the skill willing to give it a shot?
  10. Are there any cheap books that give you skill levels or quests/map locations? Just curious, because after a couple of hours of playing, I stopped reading the cheap books. I just look at the price -- any book that is worth more than 30 or so will increase your skill or be useful in some other way. I've never found anything useful in the cheap books. They are just filler, as far as I can tell. This idea was more about finding them in the world then from a vendor.. easily knowing which books on shelves in castles that you have read and ones that you haven't. Put the books in a container. I collect and steal books all the time, unless I have them already. When I went home and put them all into a drawer, I wanted to keep my chest clear of books(dragon bones only), I noticed some were in read and some were in white. Not all the books I gathered had been opened and then taken. I imagine that is why it was like that. So from what I could tell this is already done.. maybe a mod to trigger it only after you reach the last page though. As just opening a book and taking it not reading it.. it would give a false positive. Again this is more about finding them in the open world then stealing them. I found no need for keeping the books after I have read them but I hate reading the same books over and over again. A simple read/unread addition to the item name would be perfect.
  11. Yea.. great ideas in this thread can anyone oblige to making a good book mod? I like the 0 weight for all books so u can carry them.. great idea. Bigger bookshelf in your houses.. seems hard to do but also a great idea.
  12. Bump.. think anyone can pull this one off? Seems relatively simple compared to some requests.
