Using the mods listed below I am able to level up my wizard and all the npc party members except Wyll to 5th level. For Wyll the warlock there are no spells available listed for selection during the 5th level level up process. This of course prevents me from completing the level up process for Wyll. I did not get any new spell choices when I leveled to 5th level wizard, though I do have two third level spell slots.

I am having the same problem with armor I created in the Creation Kit. I selected a pre existing armor whose model I wanted to use. Edited it, changed the id, and saved the new form as a new item. Yet when I equipped the armor I appear naked. I also saw a post on the issue in an earlier search, but I can't find it again.

Where are the backup files stored? NM. found them.

Suddenly Skyrim will no longer launch through Mod Organizer. The load screen CTD before it even reaches the saved game or new game options. I reinstalled Skyrim even. Skyrim and SKSE will launch outside of Mod Organizer, but not through it.

There are plenty of places to house adopted children in Skyrim, but since I am using a mod to remodel the Proudspire basement my housecarl has nowhere to sleep. I have tried using console commands to remodel the children's bedroom, but other than a bed she will sit on, I am having difficulty placing other furniture in the room. What I would like is a mod converting the Proudspire children's bedroom into a proper room for the housecarl that she will use.

For Old Skyrim I am using MO to download and manage my mods. For SSE I am installing mod with NMM, but something somewhere is set to tell Nexus to download to and with MO. I do not want to change how old Skyrim downloads mods, but I want SSE mods downloaded with NMM. How and where do I set this up? The error message said something about re-registering but I do not know how or where to re-register. I am not ever sure what I am suppose to re-register. For now I download manually then copy the mod to the correct folder.

This was the second time I encounter Hitting the Books not start and the console unable to update the quest. That time I deactivated about every MOD to get the console to work on this quest. This time I took the time to narrow it down to one MOD. For me it was 'Castle Grey.' This was the only MOD I had to deactivate to get the quest to trigger using the console: setstage mg03 20 Other MODs may interfere with 'Hitting the Books,' but this was the only one out a 100 active MODs that kept the console from updating the quest.

Is there a command to list factions?

Most of my Modding attempts have been to made a small improvement to a build, usually a player home. However the multiple layers of stuff in upgradeable buildings confuses me. The Hearthfire estates are the worst, with all three options for each wing overlapping. How do I filter out the stuff I do not want to work with or change, i.e. the other wing options in Hearthfire or the original state of a purchased player home?

I am using a MOD that allows you to adopt up to six children. However I just learned they all have to live in the same place. Is there a MOD to expand one of the home to accommodate six children (a bed for each) or a MOD to allow having children live in different locations?

There are faction files to make to make an NPC marriable through the console. What would be the factions added and/or removed to make an NPC child adoptable? I wanted to adopt Aventus, the Dark Brotherhood kid, but he is normally unadoptable. I found a MOD, "Adopt Aventus," but that just overwrites Samual with an Aventus clone and leaves the original Aventus sitting in the other room. I want to adopt the original Aventus; using the console if need be.

You could not find the lancher for Skse? You need to make a shortcut for it. If you installed Skse correctly it is in the same folder as the standard lancher. As for your reinstalling the game from scratch. I would first make copies of the stuff leftover after uninstalling to a backup folder. Then I would let the game overwrite to its heart's content. Or, after backing everything up, I would delete the Skyrim folders from my Steam folders and let the game install clean. Then reinstall what you what you want in your game. I would test the game to make sure it runs at several points while reinstalling my MODs so that you can catch any other issues that might be MOD related.

To answer my only question, as expected, dirty faces are created under the "Character Gen Parts" tab when editing the NPC from the Actor list in the "Object Window". However under textures the dirty face was likely created by using more than the dirt options at the bottom of textures. To remove all dirt from a face right click on each texture in the list (except warpaints and tatoos, unless you are trying to get rid of these also, untested) and anywhere (except skin tone) there is a color except ColorAverage, R 255, G 255, B 255, change the color to ColorAverage under "Face Tinting Color." You should also check "Face Complexion" if the face is to rough. Yor And don't forget to export after saving the NPC, by highlighting the NPC in the "Object Window" list and hit Ctrl-F4, or they will be grey faced in game.

How do you use the Creation Kit to remove dirt from an NPC's face? There are many MODs for specific NPCs, so it can't be that difficult. Yet so far in experimenting and searching forums I have only had marginal success. Yor

For buying and selling I have a merchant outfit. I would like to replace the shield with a more appropriate enchantable item, such as a cane or a ledger book.... Or a ring that fits in the shield slot... Any logical hand held item with do.

I'm looking for a polygamy MOD I'd also like a MOD that will clean up individual NPCs. I don't want to impose universal bathing on Skyrim, but I would prefer my friends and spouses bathed.

I am also looking for/waiting for a polygamy MOD.
