  1. Installed a few mods and not sure what mod is doing this. All the battle armor for females are like skimpy and stuff. I'm trying to have a somewhat vanilla experience. What mod do I have installed that's causing this? Anyway to keep the mod but revert the armor back to normal? Thanks!
  2. yep enb boost doesn't seem to fix the problem. I thought about trying the game out with windows 7 instead of playing on 10.
  3. even dynavision mod brings down my frames. although not as bad ithits around 24-30 after a minute or so.
  4. hey man, nothin to be sorry about! you've been a great help, and stuck by with em with every possible fix. perhaps i'll give it some time and try again in a couple of months. but again thanks so much! you've been a great help!
  5. aaaannnnnnnnnnd, it still has fps drops.... gosh darn it! I really don't know anymore.
  6. I have new vegas installed on a different drive from my main steam drive.
  7. so I unistalled new vegas from steam, would unistalling mods from NMM do anything? EDIT: nvm, it won't be able to locate the directory because its gone lmao.
  8. alright i'll give another fresh install with the 4gb you gave me and manually putting the stutter and nvac files in.
  9. yeah tried old world enb, fps drops too. I have the gtx 980 4gb edition. I can play any other game just fine, even witcher 3 on max settings. ( I know comparing apples to oranges lol). Maybe there is a vram issue?
  10. yeah its fine without an enb. When I tried NMC's texture my frames would drop almost the same way as with the enb. Not sure, I guess the game is just temperamental. I'll give old world enb a shot.
  11. Rolled back my drivers, and what do ya know.....FPS drops still. they always linger around 10-17 frames after a steady 60 frames for about 1 minute. Aw well I guess. shame too, the ENB's were too comfy on New Vegas. But hey, I really really appreciate all the help you've been giving me. Maybe when the next ENB update hits it'll fix the problem. its strange though, I've ran an ENB on New Vegas a couple of years back no problem.
  12. how do I rollback? Last time I had to do that it was another program? Rollback means go back to a previous version right? EDIT: rolling back driver now. will keep you posted.
  13. okay so I got the game to load up with the enb ( switched back to enhanced shaders + neveda skies) through the 4gb launcher. Still to my dismay fps drops.
  14. i've read that only the d3d9.dll goes in the exe folder, is that correct? also when I run the 4gb patch you gave me, I get this error saying "The system cannot find the file specified." got the 4gb patch exe to work, but now im greeted by a black screen, unable to test the fps drops. I can hear the games music tho.
  15. yeah I don't have a exe named "falloutNV4GB" Once it the "falloutNVpatch" exe says patched, I launch the game from steam or the nvse exe in the folder. I have the nvac and stutter installed through NMM, should I just install them manually then?
