Nevermind, fixed it, there was a craftable item for multiple followers mod that I hadn't noticed to send them away...so yes, I'm an idiot heh heh heh

Been having a problem for a while now, Preston Garvey won't stop following me. When I pick the dismiss option he says "ok babe, see you at home" but doesn't leave and the option to pick which settlement to send him to doesn't appear. I've successfully completed all the Castle related quests some time ago and didn't have him follow me as a companion until a while after. I've turned all my mods off and nothing changes, I have no quests related to him apart from the standard another settlement needs our help, and when I hand one in to him he immediately gives me another. Anyone have any ideas?

After much playing around it seems to be Unique Player that's causing this issue, now that I think about it I'm using the CBBE version, maybe that's it.

Picked up FO4 again yesterday after a bit of a break, game updated so I updated the usual mods, Armorsmith, AWKCR, etc. Tried to start a new game and game hung on the start screen until I closed game manually, checked forums, switched off all mods that give you an item at the start, Wintermute, Companion GPS, etc, and all was well until character creation. Male player's body was shiny and purple with invisible hands. The following few hours consisted of me googling issues, trying various male body texture mods, all to no avail. I did manage to get the body showing with a tattoo mod but the hands were gone still. I even reloaded an old male character save I had and found the same thing had happened. Female characters, new and reloads were fine for these I'm using CBBE, Unique player, a tattoo mod...all fine. Can anyone help?
