I have an ambitious idea that I think is very cool, but seeing as I'm really new to modding skyrim I have no idea how to pull it off; My Idea is Project Clear & Fortify (PCF for short) PCF will be a mod where once a dungeon, bandit camp, etc is marked as cleared, you can go talk an npc in the hold you're in and get some guards up in there to take their place. Now it wouldn't be just that, that would be boring. 2 things would happen after a dungeon or bandit fort is taken over, 1.) Over a period of a few days the guards would clean away rubble from inside cells, revealing shortcuts and/or new areas of the cell unexplored (ofc made by us). and 2.) The Guards would "set up shop" as it where, they could make a barracks area, or actually setting up shops (around where bandits usually make stuff in camps) Now that's a rough idea, but It can be expanded upon in so many other ways, such as: -Holdouts, should you have cleared and filled a camp before, and then conquered the hold for the imperials or stormcloaks, the guards will still be there, but now hostile ofc. Giving you a chance to get more loot from the same dungeon (now with shortcuts), and to kill those filthy imperials or traitorous stormcloaks -Faction Takeover, Want to take back and remake the Falkreath Sanctuary for the Dark Brotherhood? Set up a permanent Base Camp at Ysgramor's Tomb with the Companions? Allow your college friends to research the dwemer ruins you just cleared? Now you can! -New Towns, if you want to go for an extreme route, some select big camps could have a 3rd stage to their remodel, the creation of a new town! As gratitude, the new towns folk could give you a player home, or if they can't spare a home, maybe some gold or loot. Looking for either a few decent modders, or someone to teach me how the creation kit works long enough that this can be done, thank you!
  2. Was just about to write about this, I think this would be amazing. Also I think there should be a quest chain after the minutemen have retaken enough settlements to drive the gunners out of the commonwealth, the radio would remain operational, but instead of getting reports of jobs inside the commonwealth, you get reports of their next targets (they go back to war with the minutemen), perhaps eventually they'd try to assassinate Preston and/or Ronnie. I was also planning to offer some voice work for free if anyone wanted to work on this mod.
