    I know this is a year old thread, but I'm bumping it since I'm trying to convert Immersive Soul Gems to SSE for personal use, I seem to have a similar issue to the OP with how light effect these gems. I've searched the web an so far have found only these posts about this issue. Has anyone cracked this nut yet? Thanks and sorry for the necro...

    Hello Grace. I was playing Skyrim up until my video card died and I did model some swords from the original Conan movie, but again technical difficulties have brought the fun to a temporary hold. The lack of Blender nifscripts for Blender 2.5x have also slowed progress and enthusiasm. How are you??

    I have at least two short comings, I suck at texturing, and I am no good at dreaming up mesh. I could model the DMC sword (the sword with wings for the guard) as it is, but I don't know how to make it less Gothic, though you could suggest what it should look like. In any case, I am better at modeling from a photo/sketch. You might look here. If you scroll down the right hand side of the page to the "Weapons" folder there are many unreleased models that may or may not suit your purpose. There is one sword there that is similar to a released sword by another modder, but they only share the same source picture, otherwise, they are independently made.     I am glad you like that stuff. I'm not really modding at the moment, but I am sorta getting the itch to. I'm looking forward to Witcher 2 which should carry me right on in to TESV!

    Thanks for this Ghogiel. I'll have to see if Blender has such an offset function. My models do suffer from the bad lighting.

    All Fighter's Guild Porters! The look at me funny and follow me around. They never say a damn word though. Sometimes I just want to turn around and stab them. I need a mod that lets me throw a porter through a window.
