Startin up Oblivion again after 6-7 years. I have encountered a problem. There is no grass only what I would describe as a checkerboard pattern of blue and purple. Have installed 10-12 mods but I don't think it is caused by graphical mods like unique landscapes. Can anyone help me out

So I encountered a bug I haven't seen mentioned anywhere. I started the Hircine quest ,killed the beast and went to the cave. Inside the cave a few things usually happens. 1. Instead of the camp with the wounded khajiit I find two bears, the quest continues still. 2. when I get to the cliff where Sinding starts speaking to the MC, he sometimes doesn't stand there, and when I reach him after climbing the stairs I can get into the conversation, and attack him afterwards, but he cannot be killed then. 3. Once Hoth killed him and the body just dissappeared 4. sometimes he doesn't attack the other huntsmen, he just stands there. 5. the huntsmen sometimes lose their clothes, IOW they hunt naked. 6.And here is the real problem, after I kill and skin him, Hircine is a no show. I have tried like 50 times. It's as simple as the description, when I enter sneak mode my followers just go home. It seems to differ a bit though depending on the followers: Uthgerd just stands around when I sneak whilst Vixen, Temptress follower, heads for Whiterun. Lydia won't even join me after I killed the first dragon. Anyone know whta I can do to fix this? In all my Skyrim saves there is suddenly a lot less speech from npcs. They won't ask me how I am and/or bother me with their lifestory. It's even impossible to start a new game since the imperial, can't remember his name, won't even ask me: "Who are you?" Correction: I can't even get off the wagon! What's going on? After a two year absence from Skyrim I thought I would mod up and play this flawed gem, so I started a new game, after adding some more mods. I Quickly experienced that something was wrong. When I came to Embershard mine I found there were some parts of the landscape missing. I can't move through this "hole". I tried unloading just about every mod I have but it didn't work. Anyone have a clue what's wrong? I remember this armor from morrowind where you got 50% magic resistance when worn. Now it's 15%! You can easily enchant that yourself on a better armor. It needs to be buffed up to dragon scale level + at least 30-50% magic resistance

I watched the movie Thor yesterday, and it was a decent film. Then I got to thinking, why arent there any onehanded hammers in the game? I know there are warhammers, but wouldn't it be cool to have onehanded hammers as well, wo wants to use a mace anyway

The voices are great. Mcbain does skyrim, I wish they would consider some french or italian accents for the next game. You know latino speaking argonians or ze french elves

This is more of a rage post than anything else. Have uninstalled skyrim, cause the patches f***ed up the game. Now I have reinstalled, had to dl again, and set the game not to update automatically. Guess what, it starts updating. That I do not want, since I want to play the game without crashes and bugs, the way it was before the patches came out Done ranting now, sorry. Is there any way to stop thw update?

How about making the dragons smaller? Slaying dragons is alright and all, if you are playing an epic character, like a paladin build. However when you want to just enjoy the game, and play say a thief or some jack of all trades adventurer, the dragon fights become a hassle and ruins the experience for me. If some of the dragons, most, were smaller then it would improve the gaming experience

How about not being able to play it anymore. I liked the game, it's addictive no matter what people say, maybe that's why we complain so much. Lack of variety in weaponry and items, no more short swords or pauldrons is another complaint

I have encountered a bug where the savegames in dungeons won't load. In the upper part of michunzalet. or whatever, the save loads just fine, but in the lower parts it just CTDs. In wolfskull i had the opposite problem. My autosave from the lower dungeon loaded but the autosave leaving the dungeon and my quicksave prior to leaving said dungeon won't load. What is the problem?

I have downloaded a couple of playing card mods, and these were with girls with little or no clothing. They were well made, but didn't really fit into the atmosphere of fallout. Inspired by this, I started browsing the net and my hd for pics which could be "appropriate", and I did find a lot of stuff which fit into the whole apocalypse raider girl genre. The problem is I can't make playing cards myself, otherwise I would.
