  1. I managed to solve the touchpad problems by following the advice on Steam: https://steamcommunity.com/app/489830/discussions/0/2946999778462287522/. This guy had the same problem as me. He solved it by deselecting two finger scrolling in the touchpad settings.
  2. I don't use a mouse with the laptop since I game with it on my lap in the sofa.
  3. I posted that too soon. The problem seemed like it was solved but it had to be temporary luck. Now it is almost as bad as before, with the only difference that the keybord movement keys sort of works as long as I don't touch Quit in the menu. That makes the controls behave like before. The sliders still moves by themselves when I hover the mouse pointer over them. I still can't activate sub menu options with the touchpad since they only go white for a fraction of a second. Also, just to be clear this laptop is quite strong. It runs Skyrim on ultra with no lag at all. My problem is only with the touchpad controls in game and menus.
  4. YES, that was it. Shadow distance set to medium did it. Everything else is set to ultra or high. Now the controls works perfectly and I don't have to limit the framerate. That was really helpful. Thanks again. But were you talking about laggy gameplay because of too high settings?
  5. Thank you. Your suggestion put me on the right track. First I tried to lower the settings as you said, but since I had to set everything to low that was not a good solution. Then I thought maybe it had to to with the framerate which I then set to 60 with nvidia settings. It seems that solved my problem. Too bad you can't fully use a fast screen with Skyrim.
  6. I just bought a new gaming laptop. It's a MSI GF65 Thin. The pre game menu has no problems. The ingame menu is a real nightmare. The main options on the left side of the menu are fine but any submenu to the right is nearly impossible to activate. I also constant menu mouse sounds like the menu options are changing rapidly. Also if I manage to get into the settings menu with sliders I can see that any slider I point to moves rapidly to the left. I can also see the slider struggle a lot if I try to move it to the right. Because of this glitch using the keybord does not work. This has only happened in Skyrim so far. It does not happen in the other games i have tried. It doesn't happen outside gaming either.
  7. Hi, just a question: You say you are on Win 10, right? Do you know about the vram bug in the stable version of Win 10? Or is it so that you are on the insider program and got access to the fixed build. If not there is not much you can do since the hard limits vram to about 4 gig. I'd suggest you go to enbdev.com and download the Vramsizetest tool. To be sure about how much you have accessible run the dx9 tool.
  8. Thanks. I`ll try it. Edit: Sadly it made no difference.
  9. I have a problem with my saves. I mod Nehrim with MO. When I create my character and exit the creation screen everything is fine. I can play the game without any problems. But when I load a save my character has a second headless torso behind the main torso. The second torso´s arms are stretched tightly backwards. In my Data folder there`s Archive Invalidation.txt and Oblivion_Invalidation.bsa. Is this correct? The mods I use are www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45554 (ORN) with it`s requisites, Oblivion Reloaded/OBGE, Phinix Imersive DarkUI, Custom Autosaves, Meshes and Normal Maps beta and Nehrim HighRes Palm Tree Retexture. I have noticed that this error only happens on some loadings and not on others. Mainly it does not happen when I have just started the game. Does noone have any suggestions to why this happens even when AI is enforced?
  10. Does it have the small DLC, as well? The GOG version also has the small ones like Fighter's Stronghold, Orrery, Wizard's Tower and the like. Yes it does.. I have spent a long time trying to solve my problems. That included 3 mod managers. DarnUI has proven to be pain to install. The Omod as well. So I have gone for Phinix dark UI instead. That is nearly good enough except for the text in the inventory not lining up with the icons and the pointer. The problems that remain are that the PC`s hands are blue. That was much worse before I did use Archive Inv. in TMM. The second problem is that my torch when Equipped is glued to the right leg like a holstered sword. It is to dark to walk around. @TheMastersSon: I got it for $10-11 in my currency.
  11. "So Blockhead is not working, but other mods installed through MO are working? Have you tried installing Blockhead to the actual directory?" This solved it. I moved OBSE data, Fast Exit and Blockhead to the data folder of Nehrim. Now all three are working, I got rid of the Install Blockhead message on all heads. Now ORN makes people much nicer looking. Do you have any experience with Nehrim? Do you know if DarnUI is compatible? I don`t really like how Nehrim lumps all your stuff together with no info at all with no info except when pointing with the mouse. Even vanilla Oblivion does it better. DarnUI looks kind off like Sky UI which is much better. I tried to install the 7-zip in MO. Afterwords there where no difference. And when I try to copy the font lines to the INI in MO Oblivion.exe keeps crashing at game start.
  12. Thank you for your reply. For some reason I thought MO shows all saves in the save folder, bit I now have noticed that it only shows the ESS-files and not the OBSE-files. Today I really checked the folder and not only MOs save tab. Apparently OBSE is working. It has been some time since I played Skyrim and I forgot how MO behaves when showing saves. Then I don`t know why Blockhead is not working. It should be simple to install in th OBSE\Plugins folder. I need Blockhead for ORN.
  13. OBSE is not working for me. I did the steps suggested earlier. Still plugins do not work and I have only ESS-files in the save folder. Oblivion is not installed in the Program Files(86) folder
  14. Thanks, I`ll check it out. Edit: You were right the first time. Skyrim must have so broken that a file verification could not fix it. A complete game reinstall solved it. Thanks for your suggestions.
  15. Do you really think it is because of mods? Remember it is SKSE which crashes. The game itself does not get a chance to load. Without it Skyrim loads just fine.
