  1. Hi, As shown above I receive this error when attempting downloads for files which are reasonably large, over 250-300mb. Smaller ones don't get this error. For the larger files, they will begin downloading for about half a minute and then reliably fail and re-open the tab of the mod on the nexus page. Returning to the Vortex portal, I receive an error message which I will attach below. As a thought for a workaround, would a manual download to the Vortex folder allow Vortext to detect and synchronise that directory so I can install that mod? Thanks in advance!
  2. Good morning people, I've got a strange issue on my current F4 game where I access an armor workbench and my game instantly stops, no warning, no messages or "Program has stopped working" pop up, just immediate death! I can still use cooking, weapon & regular workbenches so I've been scouring my mod list to see if there's an obvious conflict. I've also reinstalled AWKCR and Armorsmith in that order, then saying "no to all". Anyway I will wrap it up and attach my load order below. Can anyone help me out here? Cheers, have a good one.
  3. Hi all, I am trying to set up my nexus mod manager to accomodate Fallout 4 but I'm having an issues I haven't had before. Due to memory issues I have had to install my F4 game folder on my I/ drive instead of C/. When I scan for my F4 game path I can get up to the Fallout 4 folder but it says the following: "The selected path does not contain the game's EXE file. Are you sure you want to use the selected path?" Now I have double checked and this folder DOES contain the launcher and I have verified the game files through Steam so it is all working, I even booted it up from this folder just to be certain. However, the NMM cannot seem to find it, is there any advice available? Thanks in advance!
  4. Good evening fellow Nates & Noras, I recently got my PC back after a harddrive failure and I've encountered several problems with getting my game back up and functioning with the use of NMM, F4SE etc. So basically my data was all saved but transferred onto new harddrives. I've managed to fix most of the problems with reconfiguring it to work again. My current issue is not something that I've found on forums so I thought this would be the place to ask. I've downloaded some simple mods to test their functionality but they don't appear in the plugin column, despite being located and activated on the mods tab. I am not really sure where to look. Weirdly, when I look through my NMM folder (My Document/Nexus Mod Manager) there is just an empty folder, are they being sent somewhere else as I can't find them? My Steamapps directory is on a separate drive, is this a possible factor? And yes, I have scoured the forums but this problem seems new to me and like I said, my PC was recently repaired so an expert has done some jiggery pokery to it's mutilated innards. I'm not a techie so save your cruel words and if you can help me I would be immensely grateful. Thanks and sorry if this is uninformative, I can provide some more info if needed.
  5. Thanks man, appreciate the advice!
  6. HI all, Some of the mods I have installed on NMM won't activate. I select them and press activate, the box which shows their activation progress flashes up for a split second but they do not become active. Any suggestions? Thanks, and happy new year!
  7. So I launch F4SE from the NMM menu and I get two error messages, both saying the same thing: You are using a newer version of Fallout than this version of F4SE supports. If this version just came out, please be patient while we update our code. In the meantime, please check silverlock for updates. Runtime: 1.8.7 F4SE: 0.2.7 Normally I'd just wait but it's been like this for about a fortnight and silverlock hasn't given me any information, plus I can't find any forum topics on it. Can anyone help?
  8. Hi to all, I booted up NMM a day or two ago for F4 and got the message about an update. I think I followed the instructions correctly but now it has absolutely mutilated my damage balancing. I am used to having massive damage for everything, i.e. I can take about 2 shots, as can enemies before death. Now though I am killed after one shot from anything and I can do virtually no damage to anything, regardless of my stats. I've tried different mods that allow you to customise damage variables but this has done nothing. In other words I have to unload an entire clip to kill something whilst I am dead after a single hit. I noticed someone else posted a topic about stealth balancing, which I can understand is similar, but my damage is affected in every scenario, stealth or no. Also, and perhaps more importantly, NMM has been faulty since the update; say I have 15 active mods on the NMM screen and I add one more, so I have 16. If I load the game up I will be told that I am missing 15 mods that I had active. The only workaround I've found is to load another profile and load back the one I want. This is bizarre and frustrating. Any help would be appreciated.
