I was going to give my thanks for the witcher2 tweakier mod I I felt just a thumbs up vote for this amasing mod was not enough. was having serous ishures with fighting the kayren and was at it for almost 2 weeks streght I was all over the internet trying to find a way to beat this thing then I used the tweaker to lower my settings and I acutually saw where the peice of the last tentical was to fall off from and i got the job done in a couple of min. THen I was able to retern my settings to what they where before this mod got me out of a real nightmare thanks .

completley new not a modder by any means you can download them manualy and then install them yourself in the corect directory . I found this series quiet helpful. sorry cant figure out how to put in you tube links but iDesuF'X has a great 3 part video series on you tube on how to install mods for witcher2 First one is called how to install mods in witcher2 i think

I downloaded what i thought was a mod as well new to the sight and it was this particlaur "mod" that I was interested in However it has the extenshion saved games. From what i have seen this is not actually a mod but a saved game for someone who uploaded there kayran game and the person posting the " kayran saved game mod" was posting a finished game for someone . So this is not a mod at all but a saved game for someone else . thus unless you are that person this "mod " which is not a mod will not operate with your pc.

go into your steam library click on the game propertys click disable steam overlay i had to do this with vampire the maskerade as steam killed the game . once you disable the overlay you will be unable to take screenshots with steam.

Im having the same ishue with the quick time event I cant seem to be able to cut off the last tentical to trigger the cut scene dont die but right click does not make a diffence whether i do or not left click fill up the bar get droped endless cycle untill my fingers get sore or i quite the game. and yes I know its right click left click then space bar. I dont get an idicator for ether the right click or the space bar I have even tried with a x box game pad just get the x indicator . however I dont know how nore can I post a link to my saved game becase I deleted all the kayren related files becase I was trying to use the dead kayen save mod with my steam vershion of the game becase I had over 40 auto saves I have been at this for almost 2 weeks . Rather than trying to help indvidual gamers wich is comendible but time consuming there must be some way to just trigger the cut scene that ends the kayren fight? and skip the quick time event entirely for those of us who olny get the tentical rideing with no space bar idicator if i find out how to do this i will post .
