I finally got the journal. Really nice size, but now i'm second guessing drawing out the map. Doesn't skyrim come with a cloth map? Wouldn't it be better to mark out locations by geographic clues? Like i write it's northwest of a lake or something? I mean you can't really mark out every location on a drawn map on a 4X6 inch book, right?

It's in working order. It could still use some content to make it look pretty, but I'll post the link tomorrow. tits. can't wait.

Now that I think of it, would it be better to do a grid system? Like instead of the regions of skyrim I draw a map of skyrim and put a grid on it. Then I draw maps of the grids? Or will the areas be better?

Also just bought the journal from the original post. 2-6 days delivery. I wanna see everyone's maps. I'm gunna draw mine and post it on here once I have the journal :D

Damn we should have blogs to show our journals to each other. Maybe any drawings we do. Or hopefully this thread gets popular enough I'm working on a webiste right now. I can try and set it up for a group blog. It will take me little bit tho. Give this man a medal. How do you plan on doing it? Like you make an account where you post your things on your page? Or like threads with everyone together?

Like I said to the other guy, trace it dude. And mark the major cities already present on it. Also make maps of the regions of skyrim. From there on it's up to you to plot locations and whutnot

You can copy down the map. Like print out the maps I put links for. That's why I put them there. Copy down the map. Mark the major cities. From there on you're on your own to mark the locations/npcs/nirnroots/etc that you find.

I was actually pretty good in art class if I do say so myself. eh? eh?

I think I'm going to write with an HB drawing pencil. That way I can sketch if I want to. :biggrin: hooray for being able to draw
