  1. This might be a little less intrusive, but I decides to collect all the dragon priest masks in the game and had to finish the mainquest and the mages guild on my pure warrior....
  2. This may not sound so bad, but I was playing my sword and board warrior on the first imperial legion quest and as soon as I entered the fort I was was fighting a bandit boss and two other high level bandits all wielding two handed axes. Any time I got withij range of two of them it was instant death by double power attack in a tiny room. there's no telling how many times I failed...
  3. During the civil war quest I thought I would take advantage of the Storm Call shout to make some of the battles easy mode. Turns out not only does it not give credit for the kills during battle, it also kills Lydia, my horse, and fellow soldiers... anyone else encountered this problem? I think friendly fire needs to be modded severely, I find that once you accidentally strike a follower in battle they can be killed because they register as an enemy.
  4. So I've been leveling a sword and board, heavy armor, warrior and I must say its the most fun character I've played so far. I got to about level 24 and decided I was going to track down a badass dragon priest mask. Looking through the official guide for the mask descriptions I notice a +40 heavy armor mask that drops off Horvanaak or something like that.... Holy s***! So I begin my quest through a pretty sweet dungeon, getting continuously raped by high level groups of draugr (which dropped ebony gear :) ) and I reach the priest. I slayed him by spam attacking with mehrunes razor only to find a mask that reads "immune to poison and disease". Turns out the guide lied to me :( Regardless I left with some pretty sweet armor, but imagine my disapointment :(
  5. I think I saw something about a similar sword being a quest reward from a deadric quest in the guide though, it was called like ebon blade or something
  6. So I finished the college of winterhold yesterday after completing like 5 actual dungeon quest. This seems ridiculously short compared to oblivion and morrowind. I've also seen people complaining about the dark brotherhood being short. Has anyone found this to be true with the thieves guild and the companions by any chance? If so, this is extremely disapointing...
  7. If there are any talking dragons they need to be voiced by Morgan Freeman....
  8. Well, unlike oblivion, a dungeon will lock to whatever level you enter it at. So if you enter a bandit cave at say level 5, and come back at level 10, the dungeon will still be set to the level 5 difficulty and give lower quality loot. Each dungeon has a preset level difficulty within a range of like 5 levels so if you entered a level 20-25 dungeon at level 5 it will lock at the easiest difficulty which would be level 20, so it would still be very difficult for you. No more clearing a dungeon full of rats and coming back later to find a bunch of trolls haha. It makes you feel like your actually getting stronger but can still be challenged by new dungeons.
  9. I appreciate you looking to see the other side of the story. There are some people that simply cannot get their heads past their own point of view. This is mainly just me teasing but... you missed the delta. You see, energy released = the change (delta) of mass (m) x the speed of light ( C )^2. There has never been a straight mass to energy conversion; there is always waste matter. And it wasn't that Einstein was trying to make it simple, it was just a coincidence that it happened to be simple. If you can call the speed of light simple, or even measurable. I suppose it's as simple as pi. Forgive me if I'm wrong now but I thought that there was a law that stated that mass is neither created nor destroyed so a theoretical equation like e=mc2 would measure the amount of energy released from an entire mass in the conversion to energy. Then you could take out slight impurities in the conversion with *x% for whatever mass may not have been converted. I don't think the delta is necessary. Atleast that's what my chem professors have always implied. In other words to stay relevant... Skyrim Rules!
  10. I think I remember someone saying in an interview that they wanted to reward players for doing things beyond their level. So you pretty much earn everything and there will always be something nicer at a higher level location.
  11. Like they've said, dragons are unscripted, that's dragon was probably just chilling there in the demo. Plus they weren't actually far enough into the story to see dragons at the preview, atleast not before bbg
  12. In Oblivion, when my character left the sewers I always immediately went across the water to the aylied ruin called Vilverin and cleared it with this new character. It gave me an opportunity to get a feel for the character in a familiar dungeon. Did anyone else do the same thing? Also I'm hoping that there will be a similar dungeon like this in Skyrim stands right there in front of you after the opening sequence. If so, I know for a fact the first thing I will do is clear the dungeon.
  13. Since attributes no longer exist, a warrior with a one hand glass sword and a skill of 50 with one handed weapons will hit for the exact same damage as a thief or mage with the same weapon and skill (granted they utilize the damage perks for one handed weapons). The game does not know that your character is a stealth character and will not make you weaker. It only takes into account your skill levels and perks.
