Thanks for the reply. I haven't used Oblivion Mod Remover before, I'll give it a try. Modding this game has become a lot more involved than it was on release. To be honest, I'm on my 6th reinstall and finally have the mods working correctly. I'm just really afraid to touch anything at the moment. Not to mention that I'm currently lost somewhere in the Shivering Isles. Seeing as I'm having no other issues, I'll probably do the painting level towards the end of my game. Thank you for the advice! I'm pretty sure its texture related and Oblivion Mod Remover is now bookmarked.

Hello, I am experiencing a CTD upon entering the painting. The loading bar fills and I hear the portal sound, and then CTD. The game seems to be otherwise stable. Can texture mods be a problem with this level?
