  1. In response to post #55253573. #55255758, #55255963, #55259463, #55261253 are all replies on the same post. I'm with you KT. We don't need change. Change is a result of bean counters getting their dirty, crooked little grubs into something. I am leery of any new software change in the digital age because the changes usually only help the bean counters inject more commercialism (or collect more personal data). RIP old Nexusmods. You were once a pure, beautiful place for enthusiasts and artists to share their talents with a loving community that was uncorrupted by the evil smell of money.

When you start paying the bills with money made from your art, the Bean Counters start to own you. Then the ad panderers move in, making you part of the machine, and turning the beauty you've created into a wh*%#. Artists who create solely for the love of creation enrich the world with beauty in its the purest form! Nothing is more valuable than that. I toast and cheer all Nexus hobbyists and enthusiasts!
  4. The pursuit of money leaves destroyed beauty in it's wake. Bean counters can only aspire to be as likeable as Undead Radrats. (Ok, I made those up.) The beauty of OMM, FOMM, NMM, and MO was that they were created and operated by enthusiasts who simply loved their work. Now one of those artists, one of the greatest, does the same work, but this time for the buck. And so commercialism has/will destroy NMM.
  5. How I long for the days when the Nexus was a home for enthusiasts/hobbyists and the dollar had no hold on it. Is there no one out there who is strong enough to resist the dollar's siren call?
  6. Do babies not cry for milk? Do supplicants not apply for relief? Do creators, fueling their need to create, not thrive on the smiles of those for whom they have created? (And if you don't ask you don't get.) I would be smiling big time if a creator could help me fix my hard-coded key issue. CrazygNexus did this with his "Interface Hard Coded Key Tweaks" mod for Skyrim. I'm not the only one suffering because that mod had 88,883 downloads. But anyway my real question is if the BA2 would work in trying to find and change hard-coded key assignments. New question: what is used to edit .swf files?
  7. Are you super-human modder guys open to begging and pleading from a way lesser mortal? If so, I want, no NEED, to remap basic game movement functions like run and jump to my external numpad. I was thinking I might be able to figure-out how to remap using Jonwd7's (thank you Jonwd7!) BA2 extractor on the UI file. What do you think?
  8. Please explain what your version of profiling is, what you want profiling to do, and why you need to include it in NMM. I see profiling as a tool for commercialism and an invasion of privacy. The beauty of NMM and the Nexus sites was that they were enthusiast built, not for commercial gain. The pursuit of money mutilates art.
  9. CD Projekt Red will you marry me? If not, I guess I'll settle for Yennefer.
