  1. "I dont have any crystals to trap a single soul...Only a mixture to keep it bound to this world, yet still mobile. People are selfish! they only want to keep thier ancestors here, for guidance and for protection; people are fools like that. I only do what they want me to, and I do not even accept payment. SOmetimes I am not even called on to do a thing, the spirit stays of its own free will. But, I am rambling. There is more to this world than meets your eyes - where do you expect the spirits of your victims go, anyway? Ive seen it, in my deepest nightmares, flowing with the black mane, as their hooves tresspass into my thoughts at the moonlit hour. The unbound spirits have been thrown into the torture of the oblivion realms, a fate I would not wish on anyone. But, mon ami, let us not speak of these chilling topics. Perhaps, instead, would you like something that I may sell to you? Belief rests with you wether I am trustworthy or not, But I am sure you know in your wisdom of all the redeemings of a single man, be them not ones who are meer mechanical gears and cogs, forming a catapault, or, perhaps, something far greater and more worthy, being not a weapon of war." Shadzon drinks one of his interring vials, enjoying the bittersweet taste of the liquid. "Funny thing about these herbal elixars: they are completely unaffective to living creatures."
  2. "And just because a bosmer is half of that, does not mean that this Orcan man would survive against a well-placed arrow. Remember, a man should be judged by his skill, and his luck. Well, I assume I have been lucky so far, surviving by hair's end. I never once regretted an action, because they allways ended in my survival...But I suppose there will be an eventuality. Perhaps, there is a time that even I may be strucken down by a mosquito, which carries the vile pox of burning feavers, and happens to be the smallest of all." Shadzon lost his thoughts as he said this. He only sat looking into his rum while he pondered his own mortality. After a while, he said, "If there is one thing certain in life, its that our bones may be interred as we fall from this plane. Now I see...Now I see the guilt I have been harboring as I practiced my trade. There is no eternal rest, no Shangri-la; not if I do what I do to people's spirits."
  3. You know what can avoid monsters? CE ring of invisibillity. Thanks, frodo! now I can rest where I please. And, since there arent any heat-vision-goggles around, I can do so in peace. Helps.
  4. "Was it not an argonian himself who said that a 'man' was but an individual? If you want respect, earn it. Perhaps through gentlemen like behavior you become a gentleman. I am shadzon, binder of souls to the mortal plane, and gentleman of the family of Marselles. I can give you most things you want, for a small price." Shadzon downed a portion of his rum. "Ah, rum, with a sweetness and bite equal to the zypher crossing the southern winds. As for you, child of the mountains, I would perfer to think of all races as my equal. We are not just millitant haters of others who are not our race, some of us are not even from our homeland at all."
  5. "Sir, I am sure your comments would be best directed elseware. I appreciate privacy in my conversations with men on equal planes with myself. Be you one of them, I would perfer you speak like a gentleman." Shadzon took a loaf of bread from his robe. He ate it with his rum, sparing none of the baked good. "Excuse my rudeness, sir. I am a little uneasy when I meet a man on an empty stomach. Where did you say you were from?"
  6. "From who, that guy over there?" Shadzon points to Kahenraz. "We dont judge people here. We accept them. If we eventually dont like them, we let it roll off and leave. Of course, im sure a man in modest standpoint such as yourself could understand that. You have a look about you...something...mysterious. You dont really look like all the stereotypes, what with your use of lightly weighted clothing and full armor at the same time." Shadzon drinks his rum. "Well, I certainly think by now that anyone who comes here has an interesting story. What is yours, my friend? Oh, by the way, you scratched yourself on something I believe. Perhaps an herb to heal you?"
  7. Shadzon attaches the clasp to its counterpart. "Exquisite. The emerald itself is rivaled only by your beauty. Or, perhaps, not. Nothing in creation or time itself could match the grace of your visage."
  8. "Please excuse him, miss. He has an attention span the size of the very fly he killed. There are gentlemen everywhere you look, dark and handsome as the night sky. And there are rougues that are the same. Of course, I myself, am neither. I am but a humble servent of the ancestors. But, still, I am polite." Shadzon paused to wipe the rum from the corner of his mouth. "Perhaps a gem to grace your beauty, miss? Only the best will do. Here is a finely cut emerald, briliantly faceted into a pendant. Take it, as a token of my admiration."
  9. "They cannot be killed because they come back. Tell your lord that all those souls he didn't get were my fault," shadzon lauguhs lightheratedly. Before signaling for another rum, He says to the mysterious man, "What school of Magik are you most trained in? BlackSummon? That isn't an easy feat, my friend."
  10. Shadzon half dozed at the tale of the stranger, Kahenraz. He had no interest of such tales of a wandering Oppertunist. For Shadzon, there was only one thing in the world that was of any console--The dead. Of course, not everyone knew that about him. They allways thought that he was a man who takes only what he saw. Shadzon had seen alot in his life, so this was probably true. " Missunderstood? From my experiance, our friends are a better judge of ourselves than we are. Of course, with all that you have to go and do, destroying serpents and whatnot, perhaps I can offer you a one of a kind ring? It was given to me by a spirit I had bound to the mortal plane. He told me that if I used it wonderous things would happen--and maybe terrible ones for others. For an adventurer such as your self, perhaps it will suit you better? I am sure that it will do ME no such bennifit. The ring is called 'Makkura'. When I heard this, I thought : Why would a ring be named Pitch Dark? I didn't know, but it dawned on me when I used it--this ring has the abbility to let you see the imps durring a new moon. Some will merely try to kill you. The others might give you information. Regardless, it doesn't matter. They can all be sent back to hell through death. And some even have tressures of the sea of fire. For a paltry donnation, it can by yours my friend." Shadzon awaited his response, but while he did, said, "Of course, I also have the two enchanter's threads and the binding potion, but those are not worth the same as this wonderous ring. Perhaps make me an offer? I never thought anyone would need it as they are not as travelled as you."
  11. "And who might you be, stranger? Do you fancy a drink or a mystical curio? I have both, you know, and I might also be able to cure your sleepless nights.
  12. "Just for you, my friend, here is both for the price of the red. Use them wisely." Shadzon finished the last of his rum before speaking, "Now, this is only for now. For an extra 5, I will share my wise sayings with you."
  13. To train two skills easily: Alteration and Security. Your alteration can be trained by locking doors. Instead of unlocking them with a spell of unlock, unlock them with a lockpick. This trains to skills easily and safely at the same time. ok, that one isn't as good as the one above. Better try again. On Good items to make (Enchantment wise): It is a good Idea to enchant an item of CE invisibillity, as you can unequip and re-equip it to stay out of trouble as long as you don't touch anything. This way, you can sneak past ANYthing.
  14. "By now, you should know. It isn't what others do that determines an outcome, but what you percieve. So, If I percieve that this blue thread will give me armor made from the aetheral winds, and I percieve that all the blue threads are the same, then..." He then stiched the blue thread into his other sleeve. "...I now have the strongest, lightest armor. Peceotion is a beautiful thing, is it not? Wthout it we would have no instinct. For example, you percieved that I was a con man. However, my initial perception was the one that stuck. I am just a man trying to make a buck by selling exclusive enchantments cheeply. If I had percieved myself a con man, then that blue thread might have killed me. Or, perhaps your perception was right. I am a con man. But, by now, with the demonstration as well, you percieve that I am not. You must be a very intellegent man, or, that is what I percieve.
  15. "Certainly, sir. And, here is my money for the drink." Shadzon then handed him the money before continuing, "This process is ancient. It orriginates from my very ancsetors, and theirs. In fact, this particular chemical can also be a suitable drink for the living. It will only bind the soul to this world if imbued intraveneously into the heart through the skin. Once the corpse is wet with this liquid, it will decay more slowly. Then, we must burn the corpse. That dust becomes the basis for a new batch of chemicals. If we have the dust from a vampire, we can find even more secrets of the other ingrediants. However, these days, with vampires being nearly wiped out, the dust is harder and harder to find. The other ingrediants are resin, salt, fermented rice, and diamond dust, the last being itself hard to find, though not as much. In fact, since these are the rarest of the rare, they are a bargin at my price. Although, they aren't the rarer of the rarest." Shadzon untied a red string from around a blue vial. "This string, gentlmen, is encchanted as well. Sew it into a cloth you have to bind a spell. Although, as of right now, I don't know what that is. Maybe I shall test it on myself. Don't worry, I have many more for sale." When Shadzon took a needle from his pocket and stiched an x into his sleeve, an aura of light grew from around him. "Ah, this string will light the darkest caves. A bargain, at 100 gold. Any takers? Trust me, all the red strings are the same. But the blue one might be better, I have not tried it. It is 100 gold as well."
  16. NAME: Shadzon RACE: Dark elf GENDER: male ARMOR: unarmored WEAPON: dagger Shadzon is, alas, a necromancer in disguise. He says instead that he is an "Ancestor Worshiper", to fit the description of his race, but knows in his heart that he really is a high preist of the dead. He helps to bind spirits of the ancestors to this world to protect the tombs and people. He has long black hair with rusty bangs. His goatee hangs lightly off his usually grinning face. His left ear has a single, small, hoop earing. His forehead has a single dimondshaped hari embeded in it.
  17. "Ah, but what is life without DEATH?" said an incoming newcomer, "As an ancestor worshiper, I can say that there is no greater circle. But, we must remember: The first birth celebrates life, the second one will mock it. My name is Shadzon. I would love a drink of your finest rum. Thank you." Shadzon speant the night telling them of all the experiance he had in counsel with the ancestors, "I remember that when we bury the dead we use a certain chemical to bind thier souls to the earth realm. It is delicate work. If you wish, I have some to sell--at 100 gilded coins for a serving to bind three spirit. Be careful with it because too much or too little will bind the corpse as well, keeping it from decomposing! That could lead to zombified corpses running the streets craving a taste for warm flesh. You see, when a body still exists on this earth with a spirit, the spirit will try to reclaim his bones. However, he will have no memory of his former life, creating a dark rebirth which will exist with a sinester surge for sustenance. So, amidst this warning, if you are interested, how much can I sell you? I have basic herbs also for about five gold each. Just ask, I probably have at least a small amount within my many satchels."
  18. really? because it lowers their disposition by five when I do it.
  19. Yes they do. they loose some disposition to you when you do that, the morrowind equivelent of fear.
  20. new bit of info! vampires, although usually compelled by hunger for blood, are often used as lab rats (or lab bats, i suppose) by mages. some vampires use their powers for good, and become vigilantes, although they are still hated. bretons are often labeled as passionate and eccentric. some become actors and bards, but most dont. At 6 classes, you have a 100% penalty, which makes you pretty useless to begin with. But, once you go beyond 6, you have more than 100% percent penalties. Every day your character wakes up, he must roll a D4, and then multiply that number by the percentage above 100% (ex. 120% is a D6 x 20). The result is how much damage you take each day. If you die from this roll, you are automatically revived with one health, and you are assigned to the Bum Class and are reduced to level one. If you prefer, at this time you can roll a D4, and on a 4 you can switch to the more powerful Drifter Class instead, but all penalties remain the same.
  21. This "Woman in caldera" is actually in Pelagiad, and only becomes friends with you if you are a male character. plus, its best if you are in the thieves guild, as otherwise she wont trust you as much. the Sload are an aquatic race that isnt seen, but often mentioned. their oily skin things are made into a soap that is expensive (If you dont have 50 drakes :P ) there is a bar for exotic dancers in Suran, where they employ acrobats to dance. the publican of that club is in debt many times.
  22. but ya know whats really scary? the black dart gang. i saw them, and was able to kill 2 of 3. then, one manages to land a hit on me, while im at full health even, and i just watch myself fall! either that or the dark brotherhood when your in thier hideout, unchamoflogued. they all attacked me and i was soon overwhelmed. or when you dont do the puzzle in clockwork city right--the one after the spinning fast blade--and eventually there are millions of venomous fabricants. i might even go as far as to say that blade itself was scary the first time...oh, wait, all those are from tribunal. well, now i know what game i thought was most scary. and i think that spriggans are  remarkably well endowed for trees
  23. um, ive never read about maromer and manmer. i think those two are false. (BTY, i accidentaly started a new post about that, but not specifically that, in morrowind lore section) but back to topic. neat fax! skooma and moon sugar is illeagal, and if you have it when you do business with any one who sells ingrediants or potions, they make you leave. plus, dont sell your skooma when it gives you a speed boost that high. orcs are master armorers, but terrible as smart ppl. and the girl orcs are smarter than the boy orcs. plus, all boy orcs have a john wayne, or other western "heroic voice". many orcs wish they wernt orcs, but only one wants to be a Kajhitt, and he gives you neat things for sugar. bretons live in high rock, a province that is the second northern most province in tamerial. its secretly shaped like a lightning bolt because bretons are good spellcasters.
