  1. I know this is old, I have the same issue, Admin and same drive not working----my workaround is to go to the virtual folder which copies everything in my case, no empty folders. I then copy the content into the Data folder. I just use this for mods with Fomod installers, the rest I install manually.
  2. I love to Mod Skyrim, and I am posting this if anyone is having problems with NMM not installing textures or meshes. I have used NMM fine for years. I now have an SSD drive, and installed NMM there and run NMM as Admin. I have had recent problems which might not be universal. I can install mods with textures and meshes with Wrye Bash, so that tells me I have no permissions problems on my drive. But Wrye Bash has no Fomod install ability as yet, but I hear they are working on that. This issue may not apply to a lot of you. I searched the forums for others who might have this issue, some found if you run as Admin and have NMM on the same drive everything is OK, but many others are still in my situation, who knows the reason. I have also found that Mods which are BSA packed have no issues installing with NMM. But mods that are not BSA packed, and have a structure that includes meshes and or texture folders, install empty folders in my case. My workaround is to go to the virtual folder for the game involved, in my case I have found all the textures and meshes are installed in the virtual folder, so I just copy and paste manually into my data folder. If you install direct from NMM the folder will have a number, that number can be seen in NMM. If you downloaded manually and installed via the zip file into NMM, then the virtual folder will will show the mods name. As I say this will be not be universal, but if the reader is in my weird position, then I hope this helps
  3. I have a similar issue since I started usinng SSD, even though I run NMM as Admin and have high permissions set, I have NMM on my SSD. It appears esp and bsa files install fine, but mods with non BSA packed textures and meshes have empty mesh and texture folders. I mostly manually install, and work between Wrye Bash and NMM, but mods with Fomod installers can be pretty complex working out what goes where. NMM can do that, Wrye Bash are working on a Fomod ability I hear. My workaround if I need to, is to go to the virtual install folder, all the required files and meshes and textures should be there. If you downloaded via NMM direct the folder will have a number ID as opposed to a name, if you downloaded manually the name of the mod will appear. I then copy the files across to the Data folder.
  4. Goldwyv3rn answer might be the correct answer yes, but did not work for me, M02 worked for me, perhaps something in my system and my new SSD drive who knows, whatever works thats great, sorry I am in the wrong forum, thanks for pointing that out..cheers
  5. I had recently changed to an SSD drive, and installed everything there including Nexus. It still did not work, textures and meshes not being installed correctly or at all. I tried everything, change permissions on SSD, or run NMM as Admin-- try that, it works for some, but not for me. I was sceptical of Mod Organiser 2 as the author moved to Nexus to create the new coming Vortex. I downloaded MO2 for Skyrim SE and boom, everything worked perfectly. MO2 installs mods to a virtual folder, not the Data folder. I am finding MO2 is working surprisingly great for SE, just like the old MO for Skyrim. I currently use it for Skyrim SE, but it can be used for other supported mods like Falllout 4. The older MO for classic Skyrim works on the same principle, virtual folders--you can find that on Nexus for classic. You can download MO2 for SE from here https://github.com/LePresidente/modorganizer/releases

  13. HI, already done this on the new design, sorry
  14. HI, great work and modern looking, but just a few thoughts.Thousands of YouTube mod review and tutorial videos have links in the description to mods that will bring to the modders page using the old domain links i.e nexusmods.com/link to mod. This new site currently has a domain name rd.nexusmods.com/link to mod. I suspect RD stands for redone The existing YouTube links will of course link to the old design URL not the new. So, should YouTube folks put a link to both sites in YouTube descriptions meantime, or will the old site be discontinued in future and the old links match the current links in thousands of YouTube descriptions. I am assuming the domain for the new design will revert back to nexusmods.com when everything is finalised, and domain links to mods will match the previous URLs. cheers and kudos to this new design, well done.
