  1. Wandering around I entered a dungeon that led me to an open sky intance (not free world) and I noticed my FPS went down to 28 (when looking at the opposite side), after I wiped all the forsworn I went to the other side, cleared the next dungeon and went outside again, then before going to exit the instance to sell my loot I went to check some corpses. When I stood in the middle of the place I got a large FPS boost, no matter where I looked at my FPS were over 50. Shouldn't be worse since the game will have to load more details due to proximity? Check these images to see it for yourself: -One extreme: http://img38.imageshack.us/img38/3366/ji1q.jpg (map location: http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/8100/0gl7.jpg) -Opposite extreme: http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/3154/tje6.jpg (map location: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/6403/u3j3.jpg) -Middle: http://imageshack.us/g/1/10324282/ (map location: http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/9420/k65o.jpg)
  2. Fixed it thanks to this post: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1387
  3. I have Installed several mods being mostly HD textures. In my 3 days playing a new game I came across several of these annoying glitches and I will really appreciate if anyone could help me fix them: http://img824.imageshack.us/img824/5525/zc7x.jpg (uninstalled almost ALL my mods and nope, no fix at all) http://img594.imageshack.us/img594/8803/6vmz.jpg http://img40.imageshack.us/img40/7398/tfmp.jpg (uninstalled 2k HD textures and the ''clean cut'' still persists) http://img850.imageshack.us/img850/6034/4s8t.jpg http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/8089/iccw.jpg This are the installed mods: http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/3497/uopn.jpg
  4. These are the mods I'm currently using: http://img694.imageshack.us/img694/4982/3puh.jpg
  5. I don't know if it is normal or not but I'm getting fugly quality with distant terrain models. Any way to improve/fix this? Here an image to explain myself: http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/9766/dsoi.jpg
  6. Yeah, I was screwing around with shadows trying to remove their sharp edges but they were still ugly even on 4096 so I decided to try 8192 after reading a post saying it fixed the sharp edges with no performance drop. It finally worked but the performance drop was devastating, inside a store at the same locations went from 60 to 27. Is this normal? It has something to do with iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes? I will have to live with the ugly-ass shadows forever?
  7. I didn't play skyrim since over a year and a half, I have a better rig now and I wanted to play it again but I'm wondering if vanilla skyrim has the great rain effects like vertical water dripping, wet surfaces and realistic drops' splash. If it doesn't, its possible that there is a mod for it and link it to me? TIA
  8. I installed a lot of mods, just simple ones that improves quality and bugfixes all of them in low res version to have the lowest FPS hit. I started a new game (from the begining to the dungeon, around 30-40 FPS), and when I enter the dungeon, at first got around 45-60 frame rate, but when I get to the part of the roof collapse and I have to go to the room in the right side, I see some kind of smoke/fog and the frame rates drop from 50 to 26, only when I focus the fog. So I'm asking if there is some way to completely remove that fog so I won't have to deal with it further in the game, and have a smooth gamplay, BTW: For some reason, looks like the brightness adjust system stoped working. Look, this image: http://img37.imageshack.us/img37/8515/tesv2012072417280826.jpg Literally impossible to play from 7 am to 15 pm (IG). It gaves me headaches.
  9. 50, 10, 0. It doesn't matter, fps drop it still huge. Plus I heard that changing that value changes all particles in general, and I don't want it, I only want to remove the fog at all.
  10. Hey guys, can someone tell me how to completely remove the fog or something to reduce the FPS drop? In a dungeon with FOG I get around 25-30 FPS, without it 45-60 FPS. I've tried reducing iMaxDesired from 750 to 0 and not a single FPS more. My rig: - nVidia GT240 1GB - 4GB RAM - AMD Phenom X4 9550 - Windows 7 64 Bit - Cleaned last week
