  1. Most of the time it has happened, its with vanilla companions (though now Niner seems to have gotten this problem, too), and it has happened with both vanilla armors and mod-added armors. Also, I dont have any HD graphics mods or ENBs.
  2. Honestly surprised I didn't see a topic on this here, but I guess it might be a very odd, specific, problem. Often times, when I try to change the armor on companions, I open their inventory, drop in the new armor (it doesn't seem to matter if I let the new armors dt make the game auto-equip it, or if I remove my companions previous outfit), when I leave the inventory window, the game immediately freezes - note, it does NOT give me a 'Fallout New Vegas has stopped working' error - it is not giving me a CTD - but it freezes up instantly. I have tried seeing if I can just 'wait it out', but unfortunately this does not work. I am using the 4Gb launcher with NVSE installed, and I am running with a total of 116 esm/esp files loaded (a few of which are merged files, patches, some small mods such as flashlightNV, or Holster Gear that I thought didn't need to be on their own taking up a esp slot, merged with FNVplugin). Merged patch is made through FNVedit. If anyone knows something that could be causing this, or a specific conflict between any of these mods, please tell me.

  4. Hello, everyone. Bit of a problem. I don't know how many of you have used the mod Angel Park, but it's a bit of an older mod that adds a new area, some new weapons, enemies, ammo types, ect. The only problem with the weapons and ammo is, the weapons added in it are all set to use ONLY the default ammo type for that weapon, and the ammo added by Angel Park [referenced as AP from now on]. Also, the ammo types are ONLY added to those separate ammo lists, so only these new weapons can use them. What I'm trying to figure out how to do is allow vanilla weapons to use the new ammo types, and allow the weapons added in Angel Park to use both vanilla ammo types and the new types. I have no experience with modding, and barely any experience in the GECK. Anyone know how to talk a newbie through how to do this?
  5. Hello all! I finally knuckled under to peer pressure and decided to post this here. I'm having some trouble with my game crashing every 10-20 minutes in game - sometimes even sooner than that! I do have an extensive list of mods, so please leave your 'lolhurrdurr just turn off your mods' at the door. Ideas on load order (I've tried using BOSS, but as we all know that isn't perfect. Always tries putting my merged patch in the middle of the load order :dry:) are appreciated, as well as knowledge of any patches I might be missing. Also, if anyone knows a better way of merging plugins besides FNVplugin, it would be appreciated, as I would still like to cut down on my load order itself without removing content.   7. As most of us who use Project Nevada know, PN allows us to blow the locks off of doors with explosives. One thing that never made sense to me was that there were not explosives made just to blow open doors. Now, I am not sure what, specifically, Project Nevada uses to determine the different 'level' of locks and what can blow them open. For instance, I believe C4 is sufficient to blow open an 'Average' lock, but won't crack a Very Hard lock, even if you stack four of them against the door. A frag grenade, I believe, will open a very easy door, but won't hurt an Average lock. I'm not sure what PN uses to determine this - damage done (which I believe is not the case, as 4 bricks of C4 should take down a door with their combined damage). I did, at one time messing around with the GECK come across five 'tiers' of explosives that Project Nevada classifies, but I'm not sure what for. My idea would be a set of explosives for each level of lock - i.e., if you have a 'small breaching charge', or whatever it is called, would open an easy lock, and a 'heavy breaching charge' would open a very hard lock. Recipes to make each set of them would be nice, unless they are added to loot lists, but I think recipes would be easier. For it's pip-boy icon, you could just use the sensor module icon, and for its in-game appearance, I thought of using a sensor module with a keypad on the side (if anyone remembers the keypad on Theos ammo box in Fallout 3, when you're rescuing Reilly's Rangers).

Hey, I keep getting some intermittent errors, and I'm wondering if anyone would know what is causing them (shown in the next 3 screenshots). http://cloud.steampo...2FEAF22DDD58A0/ http://cloud.steampo...59EA906AE44C83/ http://cloud.steampo...03272DFD2B27AA/ I was exploring Boulder City, started and completed the quest with the Great Khans who had captured the two NCR soldiers, got everyone out alive, recruited the Wendy Gilbert companion (turns one of the captured soldiers into a companion), then went to Goodsprings so I could get the sunglasses shipment (another mod) from the Gas Station, and encountered that. It has happened a few times before, and usually I try reinstalling a mod that I think is causing the problem (for instance, I have the 'A Definitive Armor Mod' (ADAM) installed, which redos at least the NCR Ranger Combat Armor types (but I'm not sure if it also redoes the Ranger Patrol armor) - I also have Breezes installed, with all the armor fixes and DLC armor fixes, and I also have the DIAMONIZED female body replacer installed as well. I'd love to know what was wrong with my game.

Hey, I posted an idea on the 'J3X Motorcycle' comments section about a way to use a Humvee model I've seen hanging out in the background of several mods, and using a bit of an adaptation of the motorcycle mod, making it drivable! I detailed it out a bit more in the comments section. PLEASE tell me you aren't inactive forever.

  12. Alright. Second try on this post (first time I made a mistake and wiped it. :facepalm: Anyways! On to the problem (and hopefully, a solution!) Right now, my game will go to the main menu, and I can load my save just fine. However, shortly after I get in-game (anywhere from 'instantly' to a minute or so, it seems a little random on the timing). I have tried, thus far, using the 'archive invalidated' feature on the Nexus Mod Manager (I remove it, then re-invalidate), using FNVedit to check for mod conflicts, FNVmasterupdate to ensure my load order is good, having Steam check the cache files (it always, oddly, says one file has failed to check and it has to redownload it, which it does instantly), and I've tried re-installing mods to ensure they are not out of date or corrupted.
