I've tried everything, and it still doesn't work, even what gopher told in his video won't work for me

Upon fast travel my power armor paint resets, independent of whether I'm using a modded paint, i assume the same happens with power armor attachments, but I don't know for sure. I don't use power armor often, but I don't like coming back to my settlement to find it unpainted. i would very much like for someone to patch this. Personally, I would, but I have no idea how. Thank you very much.
